    I've seen variations of this kind of weed torch used before. Some of the reviews on Amazon say that it keeps going out. I assume, maybe, that one would need to use it on a windless day. I also assume that there is no trigger to turn it on and off, just turn the gas off?

    • @GarageGear
      @GarageGear  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Brian, high winds can affect the flame but my torch is about five years old with no issues of it going out. This must be shut off by turning off the gas! Thanks for watching! 👍

    Dude, i love your channel as it has helped me tremendously in my snowblower world and also a source of entertainment watching other videos on stuff not in my world. However I gotta say that burning propane to kill crack weeds is not as effective as putting a gallon of vinegar in your pump sprayer. Not to mention the environmental damage. Just sayin….and hey, I just gave you an idea for a new video! ;)

      @@GarageGear Results are best when sprayer is on stream setting and application is a few days after and a couple days before rain so as to not dilute the vinegar as it gets to the roots. Works like a champ and lasts a long time!

    DO NOT DO THIS. Unless you live on a secluded private property-igniting open flames near other houses and not knowing if there are lines nearby carrying flammables or electricals0- iS UNECESSARY AND PRETTY STUPID. THIS IS THE NIGHTMARE NEIGHBOR YOU DON"T EVER WANT. TO GET RID OF A FEW WEEDS??? THAT BRAIN Can't come up with something better? What a literal tool .
