This mod is the very definition of a passion project, i'm blown away by honestly everything, the room for skill expression is staggering, the QOL tweaks, the AI changes, the combo cancelling, the Drive improvements... it's all incredible.
I remember finding you in the early days before the full Vanitas mod was even released. And now here you are. Creating something with true passion and drive (ha), and as I've noticed lately, inspiring and assisting many other creators with their own KH2FM projects. The world is a better place with you in it. Even in the darkest hours there's a light that shines. I, and many others I'm sure, am thankful that you found that light even when you were in such dire straits, and made this masterpiece. And yet, even after this sampler, I have a feeling that I haven't seen anything yet. Godspeed and may your heart be your guiding key, Xaddgx.

Once you figure out the things that truly matter in your life, it puts everything else into perspective by comparison. For me, I think that's when I figured out the person I really wanted to be.
Not only was that some of the sickest combos I've ever seen any KH2 mod do, I'm really in love with those new portraits and really like how each form has a distinct emotion. They looks really good, everything does.
Wow, and here I thought the Never May Cry Mod had some crazy combo potential, but this is something that is truly amazing. I think this is what the game was envisioned by the developers.

It really just inspires me to want to pick this game up for another good spin again (even if I've been playing fairly recently.) Making time for thins like this, stuff that sparks such a joyous energy truly does make life all the more worthwhile.

I genuinely cannot think of a better mod made by a single person in all gaming than Vanitas mod, and to see this? I am happy it is in a game I love. The funny thing is that I had seen some videos of this mod in the past, and the name and footage made me think its some kind of Final Fantasy VII crossover with some costume changes for sora lol This video would fit as a "release video" like that vanitas mod. It is a summary/description/explanation/demonstration of what this mod is all about.
It is in the style of a release video for sure, but right now this is just a hype generation one. When I make a release video, it'll go over a lot more for sure. I'm glad you think so highly of the Vanitas Mod, because that means this one will blow you away even if it's still Sora. Also yeah, the naming scheme is a massive joke.
God I need this so damn bad. I am willing to wait for this to be useable on the PC version. Cause I just wanna see the work put into this manifested to it's fullest unrestricted.
Hilariously enough, the PCSX2 version is actually far less unstable than the PC port of the game, it's just that the PC version has the better Drive load times and 60 FPS without gravity issues.
Btw Xadd, will the move descriptions show button macros for the specific moves that have them (I tend to be really forgetful with these things), or will they be in the text files?
There are abilities for the Forms that will mention which macros exist, yes. However, with Anti-Form, there's no visible ability menu for it in the game despite it actually having one internally, so you'll have to memorize the ones dedicated to it.
Nice adjustments.^^ Here's a thought that I always thought they should have: for Valor form, since you aren't able to use spells, why not replace the spells with a melee attack special move, with each spell having its own replacement move? I mean, it's not like Sora doesn't have plenty of options for such, considering DDD and Re:Coded.
Rather than accessing the magic menu, that's what I was going for with its Hold Combos. You can hold R2 to accelerate from the first hit of the AOE finishers to the last hit. Then I gave it parry frames because it should legitimately be just as good as Goofy at blocking, since it draws power from him lore-wise.
@@Xaddgx Makes sense.^^ I just figured that adding new moves in place of spells it just doesn't use would be great. Better yet if they can combo into your new already epic as hell system you've made for it.
I mean, related to this, is there a way to do what Limit Form does with shortcuts? Going into Limit form, any magic on your shortcuts get replaced with the four limits. Though they don't replace items. (I always have an item on X so Ragnarok doesn't get shortcutted) Would it be possible to mimic that action with Valor Form? Though I believe the macros set and shown here are the better option anyhow.
Hello. It's not currently uploaded to UA-cam, it was made specifically for a music tool that comes bundled with the mod. For some reason, Nanashima doesn't upload their remixes for my projects to UA-cam, but it'll be available eventually.
I love all the game play changes in this mod basically everything is perfect and i kove the new outfits for the main cast but i find out of all of them final form is the biggest downgrade it just in my opinion looks way less cool then the original and compared to the other form changes new color just looks the least intreating
Don't worry, there's a lot of costume packs to choose from, so it's pretty statistically likely that you'll find one you gravitate toward the most and like all the form designs in.
