* Buy your food at discount supermarket like Penny, Lidl or Hofer.
* get a day ticket for use of ALL public transport accross city
* most chinese restaurants offer "All you can eat" buffets (including western food)
San Ly Absolutely! This video was more like a sponsored thingy than an informative one.
Except the Chinese Buffet is straight up cancer.
That Burggasse24 vintage clothes shop is expensive af tho. I recommend checking out a few Humana stores instead srsly
Excellent suggestions :) I moved to Vienna about six months ago, and I've done about half of these. All fun.
There are also standing tickets for the "Ronacher Theater", "Raimund Theater" and the "Theater an der Wien" which cost 5€, in the "Volksoper" they are even cheaper (i'm not sure, but about 2-3€).
The "Volksoper" has a very diverse offer, because you can see a musical on one day and an opera on the next (depends on the plays they show at the moment)
at what time will you have to buy the tickets? Same day shortly before the show starts?
@@zininozinino3467 normally a few weeks before the show, but at the moment they're not available afaik because of covid
- Schwarz fahren
- penny Markt
- Pittinger bier

I have to say, I am stunned by the quality of this production. Nice depth of field, faultless audio and many more compliments from my side. Just arriving back from vienna, I will definitely make use of your tipps, the next time I am there. Thank you very much for your efforts creating this.
Thank you. Going to explore Vienna and I'm definitely going to the museum you suggested today
Love this tour guide! Trying to watch everything she does!
Nice depiction of the city, especially through an affordability perspective.
Girl-Cheering u for doing this video! And love the couple u are wandering with!
marvellous-- i will take hubby on a short trip to vienna and use all the tips and ideas mentioned in this video! fabulous--very well done.
Thank you, we will be there in August.
I miss Austria. Worked with Austrian company and made some good friends which made me in love with this country more.…Love from India.
Thank you so much showing the train going by sounds like an awesome way to do transporting people around unfortunately where I live we do not have anything like this.
There is so something going on at @3.59 ((love)) 4.03. The reaction shot @4.04 is priceless (though knowing a tad about editing this could be an inside joke by editor :)
I love Vienna! ❤️
Me too
Informative and done with a taste.
I'm currently in Vienna. Definitely going to try some of these tomorrow.
Hi Nash! sounds great! hope you're having a blast :) Best, Denise

Taro Snopsky thats in german im in german and u all are german

Didi the Gamer on ROBLOX
*"That's in GERMANY, I'm in GERMANY and you all are german."
Which is a false statement considering that Vienna is located in Austria and Austria and Germany are two different countries.
Der wiener deewan is love 💓
We're going to Vienna next week so thank you so much for posting this video. And yes we are on budget.
Hi Andy! we are happy you like it:) have a good time in Vienna! Best, Denise
Thankyou, we had great time unfortunately couldn't get to see everything, but it is a fabulous city and we're already planning to go next year. The Ringstrasse is awesome!
Nice video!
On a budget means maximum 20€/day. And you suggest on spending more than 100€/day... So I suggest to change your misleading title :)
Hi I am visiting the city this December do you have any tips on doing it cheap.

I am so excited about going to Vienna. What are some things to do in October.
Hi Dimitar,
We are glad we could help! Have fun in Vienna!
Best, Marco
Vienna is my name😀
Wtf you're awesome!
if you really wanna know how to travel on budget make a video about me :D spending 8$ each day while travelling in Europe
you should make your own videos and put them on youtube id be interested in seeing that.
The French subtitles a those from "how to do Vienna".
Great
moooore, bitte!
The title of the video says *on a budget* but then we see one of the most expensive secondhand shops I've visited in Vienna. I mean, it's a nice place with charming café but definitely it's not a budget place. I would rather recommend Humana secondhand. They have tons of stores across Vienna's centre with more than reasonable prices and often dedicated vintage sections.
Otherwise, the video is honestly made. Public trams are the best way to see most of the sites and sausage stands are a great option to taste local food (not all of them tho). But a little warning about standing places in theatres. Be ready for people, who attended a concert just because of a cheap ticket and actually aren't into opera or classical music whatsoever, thus may behave a little disruptive during performance. It happened to me in Musikverein, where a third of the people in Stehnplatz were filming the concert on mobile although it was prohibited, half of the time were browsing social medias and some didn't even take their hats down.
what camera is this ?
Please give some advise for vegetarian people who don't eat any sort of meat either red, chicken and fish. Thanks
Dear Abha, maybe this article can help you: www.wien.info/en/shopping-wining-dining/restaurants/vegetarian-restaurants
Best regards,
Lukas
I can also recommend "Neni" at the "Naschmarkt". They sell kosher food which can also be vegetarian.
I take my vegetarian friends to the Palatschinkenkuchl - lots of choices for them, but also for me, from sweet to savory:
palatschinkenkuchl.wien/
.... best of all, you are not eating cardboard or hockey-pucks (don't take this serious, insider joke for my French vegetarian friends in Paris, who took me to their fave vegetarian place). That was years ago, and we still laugh about it.
Vienna and Budget are two words I rarely hear in one sentence
My favorite city 🌆 in the 🌎 world Vienna I miss .
that's not vienna on a budget!!!! that's hipster vienna and really not that cheap.
you made a commercial for a few small business guys.
SHAME ON YOU TRICKING PEOPLE INTO THINKING THAT THEY COULD ACTUALLY SAVE MONEY
Err Pee have you been to vienna im going at the end of the year could you give me some tips
me too mat, going in december looking forward to it.
go into some restaurants called 'Gasthaus'in the suburbs of vienna like in district 21. or 22.
can be reached by U1 direction 'Leopoldau' or U2 direction 'Seestadt'
they are in most cases cheap, traditional and very good :)
for example: Gasthaus Frohes Schaffen, Lahodny, Brünner Bräu. or to a wine tavern in 'Stammersdorf'

Err Pee, I live in Vienna, and you are totally wrong and misguiding other people. These are not only small businesses, but they are very successful and beloved around Vienna. I personally know this restaurant guy. He is very down to earth. This is a very good vlog about Vienna.
2:25 what is that place?
Every Student knows Dewan. Lol

Is any possibility to have a home in Vienna for free?
couchsurfing
@@aroundthegoodworld Thanks a lot!!
try Die Gruft - Caritas: www.gruft.at/ - but this is for the truly homeless and people in need.
viennese streetfood = basically white wheat bread with a sausage ?
So streetfood of literally the whole fcking planet
@@dingstar308 No, my god, she even said "Schnitzel Viennese style" to a hotdog....
But basically yes, Vienna streetfood is Würstel or Döner.
Too much music in video
"We happen" to be here when the owner is here! Some how I dont think so!
@Doc Holliday. These are small businesses, and the owner is always there. I know one of them.
6:37 Is he really keeping the hod dog with bare hand?
some germs for the immunity isn't all that bad
Strange thing that most food shops do not use that principle and waste money and environment for single-use gloves.
C
The woman who's doing the video is amazing but the video itself is not very good. Look up Honest Guide, that's how you make good guide videos.
This video seems like it is all about YOU! I am sure you can do better.

Cool and all, but not on a budget lol
Vienna isn't a "must go destination" anymore. Prague for example is more interesting and fascinating.
Also Budapest and meanwhile Warsaw are a better choice for a trip
Alex Walter what about Bratislava?
you probably kidding...
Kidding?? You are right Prague and Budapest are beatiful but Vienna is more beautiful than Budapest and Prague. For me Vienna is the most beautiful city in Europe.
Cavanşir Eyyubzadə Vienna us not in Europe, but in Turkey :)
You obviously have no clue.
So awkward
Not at all informative......
Being on a budget? Make your own breakfast yourself... :) Hipsters with money advising you how to be on a budget....Hilarious... :)
