I'm not huge on watching youtube, I spend most of my time in the garage but when I am watching someone else build something I love seeing It done right. You do a great job of putting your head down and digging into it. Going the extra mile for just a little bit of reward is nice, i get that some things are just not worth it but i like that you can stand behind your work with pride and say i did that not a shop that i payed.
I like when you start a project and work on it untill completion. I really like the goonsquad format. 1 project at a time. But i have been here a long time and i like whatever you put out
You’re one of the few channels who does things well, not cutting corners, building things the right way. I don’t think you need to rush things, we are interested in the process. It would be nice to see you do a project start to finish, the s14 looks pretty interesting. I recon it would be cool to see progress on the c10 and s14 side by side, and would give you time to get parts etc. keep up the good work.
Definitely subscribed to the channel for you Trevor. The projects are cool, but the reason I watched the Supra build after subscribing was the work you put into it and the thought process that went into that work. Pretty much every video, I learn something from you or the people you have around you. How you talk us through ideas and how well you execute them is awesome. It's about the process, the explanation, and the outcome. I'm not even a truck person, but I'm pretty excited for the next C10 upload just to see what you do with it! Don't stress too much over what you feel you have to deliver. Chances are if people subbed, they like what you like!
Been around since watching you help fix Jesse's 1JZ car! Man did I learn lots from that series and then here I am on my second 1JZ FC RX-7! Gave me some inspiration to finish my first build and now with my second, I'm dabbling in tig welding and custom work with my second car. Edit: ALSO I think yall should paint the S14 pearl white OR a Honda's Civic Type R Sonic Grey!
I was obsessed with S2000 so i watched the rebuild of the white one a log time a go and can say that for the last 5-6 years I have watched every singel video. I feel like I have a simular mind set to you and agree with most of the things you do, this makes the make or model of the car less important. Also love all of the how to style videos, I even got my self a 06 Saab 93 daily. Have learnt and got the confidence to do so much and try new things from watching you. Keep up the work, awesome to watch the channel grow from 10-15k subs to now over 500k and thanks for the entertainment and education.
I came here during the haggard garage burnout build and I was off and on for a few months but then I really got into the Supra build. I like to think I learned a few things about prepping and painting a car along the way. You've always seemed to have unique ideas compared to most and I hope that never changes. Keep up the great work and making the streets louder!
Came here around two weeks after the first supra episode. Stuck around ever since and love watching you work on things whether it’s electrical or primer grey or fabricating or anything like that
I started watching your channel cause your a perfectionist in everything you do and don't cut corners. You know how to do it all and your editing makes a big differences with the music and timelapses. What I personally enjoy most is a full build straight to finish and I do prefer the jdm builds. Keep your head up Trev your doing good man..
I came across you when I was in the hospital last year and have followed you ever since love all your automotive insights and creativity plus all of your crazy ideas it gives me inspiration to keep pushin on
Though many of your videos are a bit long and drawn out, I started watching due to your clear explanations of what you were doing and seeing that you have great quality and take pride in your work. You also dont just do 1 part of working on a car. You go step by step which is great to see what it truly takes to make a car look the best it can.
I watch because of how I and many others can relate to you and your projects. Been watching for years now and love how we follow through every part of the project from the nitty gritty to the joy of the finished stage and the first drive and get to see the emotional rollacoaster of a a build
It was your ability to see the end project that brought me here. The Supra was such a huge accomplishment!! Don’t question yourself just keep doing you!! You have a great eye it’s so good to see that you are into details. So many people say it’s good enough!! I like your channel and I rock you sweatshirts all the time here in Seattle.
I discovered your channel because of the supra, and could not stop watching because of the variety of projects you have had over the years. You and I are very like minded people, another reason I have stayed. Keep up the great work bud, you are putting out fantastic content.
I started watching a lone star drift event video. The S14 was performing flawlessly and you were explaining clearly why/how. You are a good driver too. After the supra primer ep9000, i was hooked. I even re-done the hood of my car which had a lot of rock impacts. I enjoy your projects, Trevor. Keep being you and doing what interest you.
I started watching during the first few videos of the supra build. I was looking for a good build channel that was not so in depth it was boring, but instructive enough that I could learn something. Your channel has always been the perfect blend for me. I appreciate the variety of builds and the occasional drift content. Keep it up!
The Supra brought me here. I passed on buying one straight out of college in 2001, and have regretted it ever since. I truly enjoy the nitty gritty stuff, and the bodywork, primer, paint videos are tons of fun to zone out to late in the evening. I would like to see you stick to a single project and finish it though. I get excited by something and then you're off to another one and we wait a few weeks to get back into it.
I only come here for primer videos. Honestly originally it was for the supra, but I stayed because of the attention to detail and instructional nature of the long-term project. Start to finish but detailed and interesting videos that teach us some tricks.
The Supra brought me to your channel and I stayed because I’ve learned the most from you compared to the other automotive youtubers. On the real, your channel inspired me to start wrenching. I started with oil changes and filters, now I’m doing electrical, drivetrain, paint etc. I credit you for that Trevor. I honestly think that if you saw your projects through to completion, you’d be less stressed and would have more regular viewers. Jumping around from project to project will give you anxiety and makes people lose interest (e.g. RV, Van, Mercedes etc.) Bro, your passion is very apparent in the videos. Just keep doing what your doing, which is making badass builds and crazy swaps. Focus on having fun and the results will come as a by product.
@5:40 i was like fuarrrrkkkk 😍😍 Cant remember what brought me here but I stay cause car guy. I say make this 240 a missle..i know its not your style because your work is always on point.. but since the kit isnt great to begin with, i say just have fun with it dude and drift the shit outta it. Builds are great and all but in my opinion.. using the car what it was intended for gets me more hyped up
This is one of my favourite UA-cam channels because you just get shit done. You have an idea, you follow through with it and you just get it done and it's so nice to see someone actually follow through and finish there projects when so many UA-camrs don't bother finishing there's. The supra build was the best build for me, seeing what it was like and what it's been transformed into but I'm really liking the old truck at the moment. I love the idea of using a completely new chassis with all the mod cons for next to no cost. Hope to see it back in one piece soon. Keep doing what you do your awesome 👌🏼
The Supra brought me here, the very detailed work, The dozens of primer videos and bodywork and paint, seeing it go from clapped out shell to what it it’s now is what’s made me keep coming back. Super cars are cool and all but your unique to younger crowds for your talent and proficiency to body work.
I'm not sure when exactly I started watching you. But I can tell you that I love seeing a "regular guy" like you, with a "regular shop" do "regular projects" really well.
I came here because the content was pure, raw, and strictly automotive driven. Not conformed to the scripted bs sponsor driven million dollar builds. That's what in love about motion auto. You always built what you wanted to build and the content stayed great. Keep doing your thing and people will keep watching. Color idea for the 240.. Battle green. Gold lip color matched 3 piece wheels.
I started watching with your first drift car. Looking into something different than the rock crawling in my neck of the woods . Seeing all the steps (and mistakes ) helps guys like me who have NO Clue what we are doing, but we want to try anyway .
Your humble, down to earth, supra build got me watching but your attention to detail and how you do things is interesting to watch. Projects you have are cool, just keep on what your doing and forget what people think.Your ideas are what keep people watching 👍
Personally I subbed around six years ago during the SR swap in the Datsun. For me, I use this channel as a way to learn how to work on my own cars. I've never had someone take the time to show me how to do something. Always had a huge passion for cars but never quite understood how things actually worked/got put together. This channel has been an A+ guide in teaching me things for years now. Even though I subbed years back, I'd say the Supra content has been my favorite this far. I've dreamt of a "ground up/frame off build for years.. Seeing your visions come to life act as constant inspiration for me to actually turn a wrench and start my own dream build! Thanks for everything you've taught me and will continue to teach me. Sometimes I want to sell off all my projects because I feel like I don't know what I'm doing and they'd be better in the hands of someone with more knowledge. I don't have the heart to give up my build because of you guys, so thank you guys for helping me!
The detailed builds from engine work to all steps of paint prep and body work. Gave me a buzz and a hunger to get stuck into my project and try new techniques. Keep it up lads👍
Its ironic you post this today. Just yesterday I started the molding in of the overfenders on the rear of my "widebody" 3000GT project. I'd never really ever worked bondo before yesterday, but I got to say I am quite pleased with where I am at right now. What I did was I took about an inch off all the way around the overlay, except the wheel arch. Then I used Lord Fusor T21 to adhere the panel to the car and self tappers to hold until the bond set. Once set I removed the screws, then I just feaatherd/tapered the edges and started working fiberglass bondo and regular bondo to make it one with the car. With knowing your ability on body work I am sure you will make it look awesome. As for color, can never go wrong with black or blue.
i subscribed because you are a local colorado guy. Who grinds and actually does the work. (not the 20 primer videos) but overall info about brands and tools you are using. I enjoy seeing a parked project car actually get worked on and become what we all hope our projects can become. Good luck. keep your head in the game, family first, job second.
I started watching way back in the day when you first started the supra. I remember ending my first viewing session when you had a mental breakdown about sanding it for the third time. Honestly, I didn't watch your videos for a while, I wasn't used to the format. Most folks "rebuild" stuff and that gets old. What I enjoy the most is you being a neutral humble dude who honestly just does what they do, and it can be done by anyone. Your videos give me inspiration to go out to my garage and work on a pile of trash that everyone says isnt worth scrapping, and put in the hours to make it mine. Even if it's not nice or perfect it has hours of labor in it. Keep doing you boss, videos are awesome, and just as long as you settle for what is good enough for you, end the project, have some fun with it and find something else that gives you that passion. Don't worry about pleasing the audience, we'll like all the primer videos and the AN line videos you can through at us.
I came for cars, and your straight up willingness to just get it done. You give me inspiration to get working on my many projects around the garage that I have stalled on. Thanks for the videos
I personally started with the Supra, I love it when guys like you take near junk and give it a second life with great workmanship and skill. Also, Lexus blue would be sick.

You always figure stuff out no matte what... 2jz mustang was a fucking ripper . God Bless you and your family!!! You make the channel interesting... jus add more videos
I think midnight purple would look pretty cool. Anything you paint will look good though. I'm here to watch anything you do, I'm always impressed with the different things you tackle. I love the civic, and I'm pretty excited for the C10. I was really excited you did the frame swap on it because it's just another thing you don't see often that you did like nothing.
The Supra brought me here but the whole package made me stay subscribed...One of the best UA-cam chanels if you want to learn a lot of different things about cars, either fixing them or general knowledge.
i came here around the time you were working on the silver 240, or the evo in a box.... i liked how the videos were just like, here is what we have, and here is what we are going to do. quality entertainment for me for lots of years now.
The Supra brought me here and what has kept me is the fact that you do it all. I think it will make it easier for you and the viewers if you pick a project and stick with it till its finish. I think we are all car guys wanting to see a completed project. It's a win for the viewers and a win for you since it's your and you'll enjoy the fruits of your labor. 😁
I Found you because of the supra, learnt a hell of a lot with your demonstration style videos, and love the engine swaps... watched every video where your working on cars!
Really excited about this build, I just picked up a 96 rb25 s14 that has been sitting for years. I've been a sub for 5 or so years. Here because of the quality, detail, and diversity of the work.
I'm voting for moulding in the "overs", clean street car style.
+1 for the molding. Go clean street car on this one, since it's not supposed to be a drift car. And paint it Lexus ultrasonic blue mica 2.0

The Evo that you built was the one that brought me to your channel, and stay since then!!
Supra got me here. But been watching everyday since , your a down to earth dude and I like what you build.
The 20 primer vids and all the body and paint work vids so i can learn.
Keep it up!
Teal on black for the s14 or mint/sea foam on black
RV, Van, Mercedes etc.)
Bro, your passion is very apparent in the videos. Just keep doing what your doing, which is making badass builds and crazy swaps. Focus on having fun and the results will come as a by product.
@5:40 i was like fuarrrrkkkk 😍😍
Cant remember what brought me here but I stay cause car guy.
I came here for the orange Crown Vic burnout car. The down-to-earthness and your ambition on the Supra project kept me hooked
It’s all about the journey sir. I enjoy watching you turn broken things into, not broken things.
As for color, can never go wrong with black or blue.
came from the supra, stayed for how relatable the content is, feels real, achievable and understanding of real life struggles.
i subscribed because you are a local colorado guy.
Honestly what brought me to your channel is the dedication you have to your projects.... your smart/Humble and kind hearted.... you really love what you do !!!
You always figure stuff out no matte what... 2jz mustang was a fucking ripper
.
Found you through your first supra vid and stuck around for all the more detailed builds. no one does it quite like you and its refreshing!
I came over after one of Adam’s videos. I love your detail you put in to your builds. I would like to see you drive more, but that is just bonus.
I really like the diversity of project cars and builds. I don't know if you have the most but yours are 100% the most interesting
I subscribed for the supra but right away went back and watched all your old videos. I've stayed for the DIY mentality and quality videos.
The engine swaps and the drifting you have done and all the awesome builds that’s what keeps me coming back to watch
