@churder6788 I remember reading a post about how he had written and submitted Ranger Reject before the Quints but was pushed to do a romcom 1st. Idk if it’s true or not but the 5tuplets are very clearly color coordinated (also 5, why not triplets or quadruplets?), kinda like a Super Sentai team 🤔
yea this is THE standout anime this season
I didn't expect it but the manga for this is literally top fucking tier, the anime won't match it with all the cutting they will have to do. They didn't even burn hibikis face in a gross way like the manga
A lot of stuff was cut out for this episode. But that was mainly due to how lenghty the upcoming arc is going to be, so they need all the episodes they can get. Trust me when I say that the next arc will go crazy.
What stuff were cut out?
Some convo between white ranger dude and the mc, some convo with the mc and the blue sycthe guy, but most of that were just some gags so it's fine

@churder6788 the author wanted to make this manga first, but his editor told him to make something that would get popular easily, just so he could get his name out there first.
@@ClarkZonezThat was a good idea because the Quints is very popular in Japan as one of the biggest harem rom coms, then he could devote more time to his passion later after securing the bag and getting some prior experience.
@@raec5426 Yeah true, you can really see how happy he was to get to work on Ranger Reject. He rushed the ending to work on it as soon as possible, which I can respect.
@@ClarkZonez Lol that would actually check out, though who knows for sure but considering how big Quintuplets is in Japan (worldwide even), Negi is set for life. He now has all the creative freedom to write what he wants, income is likely no longer a concern.

He also cut his hand off so that d can use it to grab the artifact thats why after the d pretended to be hibiki and kill “d” he had his hand healing because he had used hibikis hand to grab the weapon and kill “d” and then threw hibikis hand away behind his back to get his own back
They cut out a lot of info in this episode, so this comment is to clear up the confusion for anyone who hasn’t read manga. Hibiki told D his backstory so that he could learn to trust him a bit and because he was trying to tell him that fighting the rangers won’t solve everything, and after telling D his plan to trade places and have D infiltrate the base by living as him D was still wary of Hibiki so to prove his resolve he cut off his arm and use it to make the goo guy believe he was D, and then have D pretend to kill him to protect the goo guy cause he knows that guy values bonds. Also the reason D can do Hibiki’s eyes correctly now is because he said that he couldn’t understand him before.
If they talk about the plan in more detail in the next episode I’m gonna lose it
I mean, I didn't read the manga and it did seem a bit quick, but I also felt like a good bit of what you mentioned was told to us, just not directly, it kinda just let us see it I guess, which I like a lot.

Maybe not next episode, but there’s points in the next arc where they could slide in the info and they rearranged scenes before, in each episode.

Fun fact: Jiraiya’s VA from Naruto voices the ‘God’ that attacked the cult, Goku’s VA voices the Dragon mascot, and Kenpachi from Bleach/Akainu from One Piece’s VA voices Pink Battalion’s JFC, so we have a bunch of big Shonen VAs onboard. Also, not sure if you’ve heard by now, but they’re on a break this Sunday due to golf (I blame Tokita from last episode.) 11:01 - Hekiru’s a parody on ‘the power of friendship and bonds,’ saying that while slimy with the ability of the Replica and quick on trying to kill a fellow rookie, just to kill a Duster. Some manga readers are also jumping the gun with saying it’s rushed/mentioning the ‘skipped’ content, because they’ve been rearranging scenes every episode so far, for pacing/reveals to have more impact (though, yes, there are some short scenes that likely won’t/didn’t get adapted due to time, like the parents being activists for nature and anti-violence, on top of being very religious, making Hibiki spread their ideals to others, too.) I know a few that thought this series was too slow, so the changes/pacing should be fine (even JP manga readers felt similarly), especially with how chaotic this series can get.
I've never heard of this anime before you guys started watching it and I got so interested in it that I binged the manga in 3 days. It gets so good! I'm so glad you guys introduced it to me
Maybe the rangers' raw strength is just that powerful, and they just need the divine artifacts to permanently eliminate the monsters? I don't know about them vs the monsters' bosses tho.
Fun fact, the reason there’s a dance number in the end credits is because that’s how it is in Super Sentai. It’s for the kids but in loser ranger is an awesome reference :’)

The goo thing is like acid and is the power of the divine artifact, that's why Footsoldier D couldn't hold it because it melted his hand. They just made it look weird in the anime.

They cut a bunch of stuff out, but after rewatching this episode and getting past the weird feeling that stuff is missing, I actually like this version better. I love how some things are basically left for interpretation/discussion and it's much more fun seeing people piece things together without being explicitly told things and the fact the characters feel like they do drastic things on a whim makes them feel way more unhinged. UNDERSTANDABLY SO WITH A PAST LIKE THAT

best way to describe this episode is imagine having your favorite food in front of you but you are forced to only eat half of it but i think it still worked out in a way some things about the powers are probably gonna be established later on in the anime altogether

The mange didn't show or tell us how it works either. Only mentioned that the fake head is D's doing.
Hibiki did explain that D used his hand then transform it into a fake floating head pretending that he cut his head off. You see D was reshaping his hand at the end. Hekiru in the manga was afraid that "Hibiki" betrayed him so he closed his eyes for a second of that beheading.

Ngl this ep rushed a few things (the whole fight in the end + Sakurama's past incomplete + how D got to copy the eyes perfect now), but overall enjoyable. I was afraid bc they're gonna start a LONG arc now, and 12 eps wouldn't do it, but apparently this is gonna be 2 cour split. Also, shotout to best girl Hisui finally appearing. She's not just a fan favorite: she is THE fan favorite

I haven't read the manga but i'vs seen a lot fo comments in this video saying they cut out a lot fo stuff.....and yeah, why did they? Therese so much just cut, for no reason. there's important stuff in there. Also the order of events have been switched around, dunno why. I'm not gonna say what stuff was cut, in case its shown next episode as a flashback or as another reorder of scenes. I urge everyone to read the chapters of this. thinks its like ch6-10
They rearranged scenes every episode so far and likely moved them around so the impact will be better/people don’t forget stuff. Good for reactors, but understandable why manga readers may not like it being different.
