I highly highly suggest reading the manga too, so far the series has been good at adapting everything important, but there are A LOT of scenes that end faster then they did in the manga. So over all if you're fucking with the series then read the manga

Sure, but how long do _unassigned_ colorless Rangers need to be involved to catch onto that? Like, is it part of orientation? Something they learn a month to a year in, and are convinced never to spread that knowledge to the masses?
Goons (“unaffiliated”) spawned from nowhere to take out the real Hibiki when he was about to distribute info, but he seemed surprised like he _didn’t_ expect that, so do they _not_ outright discourage them from outing the truth?
*Fun Fact:* I know lots of people don't care for the English Dub, but its apparently STACKED. Here's why:

What I heard from people who read the manga people say the anime took alot of conversations out so if the episode ever feel weirdly paced it is probably the reason. The animators are focusing more on the action sequences above anything else. Still like the anime but I wish anime would not restrict themselves to a 12 or 24 ep season.
yea to be honest the first part of the manga has a lot of yap sessions. If I'm remembering the mangas pacing in this arc then i assume that further episodes will get better

@@prodby3clips being honest with you. I still like the anime even as a manga reader. and my family also likes it. The pacing is not bad, is just that people can wait 1 week to get the answer they are looking for.
The pacing had to be this way, or we wouldn’t end off on a good spot/we would be a third through the first arc. Also, seemingly this is a split cour season. The manga’s good, but Bailong arc’s common complaint is that it’s too long/slow and the manga readers I know that dropped it, picked it back up because of the anime’s faster pacing (also it makes later arcs more consistent, with a fast pace, due to the chaos.)
I figure the boss monsters are actually disguised as the Dragon Keepers, and they are keeping their own former underlings suppressed and doing this Sunday Showdown stuff to pacify the human population into thinking they beat the alien invasion. The cadet rangers so far seem to all either be positive towards the Fighters or dead set on beating the crap out of the Dragon Keepers or both, so it's like the Ranger infrastructure is acting as a filtration system to sift out people that might become a problem.
I don't know. I just generally feel like the boss monsters didn't die, they just took over from within and are keeping everyone oblivious to it.

Man I really wana like this anime but it really has some weird pacing
The episodes feel like they got a rug pulled from under it. A ultra boss fight 7 eps in, no powerups or nothing for the main character, stuck in this training arc.
That’s the point. The exams are intended to fail the cadets, as it’s another example of Keeper propaganda.
