  • Stop wasting your money on spray bottles that don't work. In this video I dissect the three best sprayers for car detailing, and specifically for professional auto detailers! In the auto detailing industry, professional detailers are required to have a vast array of spray bottles in their arsenal, and the problem is that most spray bottles cost too much, and barely last longer than a week. Follow along as I explain exactly which spray bottles I use as a professional auto detailer, why I use them, and reveal how cheap auto detailing spray bottles can actually be, and yet last a lifetime! Don't keep wasting your money buying "the best spray bottles for auto detailers," and put your money somewhere that it will count. Check out this video, and find the best and most durable spray bottles for professional auto detailers!
    HDX Spray Bottle (my favorite... it is much cheaper at your local home depot):

    Great advice! All the time we spend using sprayers, it's worth finding good ones. It amazes me how many car care companies include crappy sprayers with their products.
    I have some of the gray ones you show and I'll be using them with a half full bottle and then suddenly nothing is coming out. I have to squeeze the trigger 6 times to get anything started again.

    What kind of brushes do you use for the interior? For example leather seats, door panels etc. Also can I use Meguiars hyper dressing on interior of Lexus RX 350 2014? I know they are safe on coated leather I just don’t know if the leather is coated. How are you supposed to know that? Can it be used on the dashboard as well?

    My favorite part of the HDX bottles is that it has the dilution ratio on the side of the bottles. It takes out the guess work when diluting chemicals.

    If you like the HDX Home Depot bottles you should get the ones in Walmart. It's about the same price at about $2 a spray bottle and I like the label around it because it's plastic and the chemicals don't wear it off. But on the HDX Home Depot bottles on the first use of chemicals get on the side of it all the stickers and labeling peels off and get stuck on your hand and goes everywhere. I also feel like the Walmart ones are more heavy duty and I like the wide mouth that has on it

    • @wilsonautodetailing
      @wilsonautodetailing  6 років тому

      Gotcha!!! If that works for you do it!! I have never experienced the labeling coming off and becoming a nussance, that is interesting!!

    Thanks. So are your favourite sprayers self priming? I.e - if you let them sit for a while without using them, does the very first pump work, or do you have to pull the trigger a few times? I generally find that the sprayers on bottles that are purchased with product in them are better quality than general purpose sprayers, unfortunately.

    • @wilsonautodetailing
      @wilsonautodetailing  7 років тому +1

      I wouldnt say that they are self priming, but they definitely still work great, and even if the product stays in them for a long period of time, it does not degrade the gasket inside the sprayer! Its awesome!

    I have been a fan of the HDX sprayer for a few years-BUT I have to spray heads go bad in with in hours of using them. They died using 50/50 distilled water and vinegar- just started using this as a cleaner - I guess there is something with this cleaner that the HDX does not like- Other then that no prob. I will see how the Zep does with this. Both at Home Depot. Thanks for your energy and making the videos Mr. Wilson and the tip how to make sprayer last longer. Denis the Menace.

    I run most of my products through a pump sprayer. You can put strait muriatic acid through it leave it for a year and they're totally fine. I haven't tried the HDX brand. I can put basically anything through the pump sprayer but when it comes to things like glass cleaner, sealants, leather cleaner and basically things used sparingly its not your best option. Mainly degreasing and carpet pre-spotting. Just spray everything and it takes 1/10 of the time.

    • @wilsonautodetailing
      @wilsonautodetailing  7 років тому +1

    I picked up ten of your number one sprayer and four stopped working first day and the rest stopped by the end of the week. Not saying they are bad, just didn’t have any luck.

    $12.59 for the HDX

  • @rpols22
    @rpols22 3 роки тому

    No friggin way! I call huge B.S. on the HDX spray bottles. This is clearly an advertisement video. You've used these for one year, I've used these HDX ones for probably 10 years and they are by far the worst performing spray bottle I have ever used. I have had them die on me as soon as one week!!! Your dead-@ss right on the yellow and blue spray bottles though. I don't know why but for some reason those are extremely durable. Some of the best performing spray bottles I've ever used. Ive had 3 of those, 2 are more than 6 years old and they have never failed on me. And I did absolutely nothing to preserve them like what you said in the last part of your video. They must have put in better engineered gaskets. I will admit, you did state good advice to preserve any spray bottle at the end.

      I bought some of these a few months ago and they were crap from the first pull. Poor volume and they leaked and dripped.
