What you'll learn in Ashcan Studio's Basic Sculpture Course!

In this course, students will learn how to sculpt a bust with clay, make a plaster mold, and cast a plaster bust from the mold. Armature will be provided for students to build the bust with accurate proportions and the anatomy of a head using foundational sculpting techniques and tool usage. By casting the sculpture with plaster, students will gain a better understanding of how the materials behave and become familiar with the details of the process.
