- Headed out with the family to one of my Favorite Sandbars that has been closed for nearly a Year since the Pandemic Started and now finally open again! Bonus Video at the end on what not to do at the boat Ramp lol!

Yea jetboats can go in very low waters they just are not good for off shore
Is Elliot Key/Sands Cut..still a wild party location???...back in the 1980s n 90's..it was a Strip Club on the water..
No it’s not anything like that anymore. But it’s hit or miss, you could be at a nice little spot next thing you know 5 boats tie up near by and form a party. The chances of that happening compared to Islamorada is 100 times less but most of the party people now a days of not in the keys they are in Miami by the Miami stadium

I have it in my boat but if you google sand cut on google maps it will come out for you.

put a 4 to 6ft chain on that rear anchor, the current in that place is strong
On my front anchor I have about 10ft of chain but since the back anchor is just really a support I have it with just a rope and never had a problem with it

Is there beaches all around Elliot key
No not Really. I know of maybe 2-3 spots that have a little beach area but they are scattered along the whole Elliott Key. One by Billy's Point another by the Rangers Station (I have a Video there) and then one more that is right by sandscut. That is why so many people go to Sandscut cause its the most sand you can find in the area
