- Found this island after I saw it on my friends Heiko InstaStory and had to look for it myself. Im glad I was able to find it for you guys and gals to enjoy.

It’s come to my attention that this island is now off limits with new signs put up. Basically it is now a bird nesting area. Good I did not tell people to come on the island!
WOW!! they are blaming you for showing the island was wrong with the locals, its almost 5 miles away from main land
@@rdabalsa I mean I do not know who is getting blamed for what but I do not know how it is a nesting zone? When the tide goes up most of the island is covered by water so the eggs would not survive.

Yes windfinder is my go to and usually imo the most accurate.

WIth all the islands off, and around the keys I would there there would be little spots like that all around the keys.... That could pass for the Bahama's. But, what do I know, I'm just a retired turtle-wrangler. Beautiful spot. That's the type of place you put out a chair, a tight line, and pop a beer. Beautiful place. Thanks for sharing.

I miss the 305. Things I hated, things I loved, like just traveling outside the area to experience a beautiful state, while using the 305 as a home base.

@@MiamiLiving305 is hard to get the right weather window cap. And if is bad you doing the right thing, i had to cancel many times in the past. For me Going to Bimini is getting very hard to get the right weather window, getting the covid Visa ,getting the Drone permit which the are making harder to ger more recently, and after all that you have to clear customs in person, in the past it was not mandatory and one more thing fuel prices in the bahamas is $7 per gallon.
Making trips to the Bahamas for me now is a pain to accomplish.

I was there on late may ,my brother took me , only negative is that when wind is above 10 miles is very uncomfortable to anchor due to the rocks , but it’s a blast 💥 beautiful place water is cristal clear , and make sure u take an umbrella.
Yea It just sucks that FWC now posted no trespassing on the island due to nesting.

Thank you for your video. I know where you are not from by your accent. I was born and raised in Islamorada since the 70’s. This sand island (that’s the official name) belongs to all the taxpayer citizens of Florida who purchase fishing licenses, buy boats and personal water crafts.
You comment that you were sworn to secrecy by a friend. There is no secret. All water sportsman and women should protect our natural resources, preserve them and enjoy them.
Many UA-camrs who show the island on their video (you know who they are) act like they own it.
The coordinates are:
Latitude
25.01997° or 25° 1' 12" north
Longitude
-80.36842° or 80° 22' 6" west
I’ll be posting it everywhere. Protect but enjoy our natural resources !

The moment you said its a secret, your not going to divulge the location or the coordinates, you promised that you would not tell anyone, I can almost bet that you peaked everyone's interest and everyone started to look for it in google. Human nature, if you are told you cant do it or supposed to do it, that will increase the desire to do it.
