Cheers! Great thing about these sort of flights - they act like a magnet for like-minded avgeeks!

Great Video, was watching with my daughter and she spotted the bunny ears straight away! Really good comms for Alex too

Thanks John - and yeah, unfortunate placing of the propeller in that shot (but made it all the more funny). Glad you enjoyed the video!

Thanks for posting this I missed out on tickets for the flights so it was good to see. Sad to see them leave the fleet. The Saab340s have been such a workhorse for Loganair

Thanks James - glad you enjoyed it. Its a shame there weren't more seats, as I think Loganair could have sold these flights 10 times over.

Fantastic video of such a memorable flight!
I loved all the Scottish music to the video making it feel very authentic. Great editing as always, glad you enjoyed the commemorative flight on such a great aircraft, it really is a shame to see the Saab 340 leave service.

Thanks Jamie - it is a real shame to see them go, but at least they sent them off in style. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Fabulous video! Thank you for recording this much better than I did! I was the guy with the orange coat and blue backpack who boarded in front of you (from 2:33)

Awesome - and thanks for your kind comments! Was a great wee flight - I think the majority of passengers had cameras and were filming the trip!

@@GLAFly It was so cool to be on a plane full of avgeeks!

@ainsliekr I wish more airlines did this when retiring aircraft - or even for "niche" aircraft in their fleet.

Great video. It's fantastic that Loganair put so much effort into giving the Saab 340 a special retirement. Sadly I never got the chance to fly on the Saab 340 with Loganair but have been fortunate to fly on the ATR42 with them recently which was a friendly and comfortable experience.

Thanks! It was fantastic to see and be a small part of the celebrations, and from what I've seen on social media, the final flight (of the aircraft, and Captain Watt) was something even more special. Water cannon salute at both INV and GLA! It's the only flight i've been on with them, so far, but I had such a great experience, that I can't wait to fly them again.

Great video slightly homesick after watching flying over Milngavie/Clydebank….recently flew on Saab 340 travelling from Brisbane to Mount Isa but sadly only made 2 stops then an engine fault so trying again in June

Cheers - glad you enjoyed the video and hope you have better luck in June - it's a brilliant wee aircraft! Loganair were saying they transported over 8 million passengers I the 24 years they operated them in their fleet (which I think was as many as 18 at one point) and you could tell the pilota loved flying them. In a weird coincidence, the BA pilot I had on a flight back up to Glasgow last night worked for Loganair and flew 340s before she moved to BA.

Great video! I was on the Saturday flight, was a fantastic day out & even more fantastic flight. Well done getting your video out so quickly, I’m still editing mine! 🤣

Cheers Dom - it's a labour of love putting in the hours to get these videos done, as you'll know, so I really appreciate your kind comments. Was determined to get this one out for the day of the final flight, so I'm chuffed it's been well received. I just wish I'd been able to do the hanger tour - I've seen a few pics of that, and it looked amazing! have subbed to your channel, so I'll be keeping an eye out for that video when it drops!

What a brilliant vlog, sad that I won't see these wee Saab's flying over my house any longer. Will share on some aviation socials mate.

Glad to you enjoyed the video, and thanks for the share! It was my first time onboard one (and you'd think after more than 430 flights in my life, i'd have been on one at some point before now...).

@@ScottishT The tickets were just on public sale. I'd seen someone else mention it on twitter, and by the time I'd go on the website, all 4 of the Saturday flights were full, and i managed to get one of the few on the Sunday that were left (and that was an aisle seat). They did a hangar tour too, but that was sold out - and looked like it was fantastic from the pics I've seen online. Really great they did this to mark the end of an era.
