I have the s20 and im here to say that 120Hz is worth it. Plus having that glass back just makes it a lot more premium
120hz seems like it would wreck the smaller battery on the entry s20 and glass may feel good but one drop and its over. But most of use plastic or rubber cases anyway so.....
@@z.c7741 the 4000MaH battery is plenty enough for 120Hz and saying that plastic is ok because you'll put a case on doesn't make it acceptable for $1000
@@corythegreat2815 TBH glass doesn't make it acceptable either as there hasn't been any major breakthrough in glass for mobile in years. You're just made to think that glass = premium when the only thing today that makes a phone premium is what's inside not outside.
@@corythegreat2815 I've always heard complaints about the battery life on the entry level s20 ...even when I had the s20 I plus using 120hz all the time cut about 2 hours from the battery life so I'd assume it would do even more to the small s20 idk could be wrong .but yes 1k for any of these phones is too much to be real especially when they depreciate like a rock. But glass is definitely not premium it's not an expensive material ...it doesn't add any advantage and it's fragile and the repair would be costly ....you may prefer the feel but it's not premium at all
@@gcforreal nope I have the baby s20 and its a beast for its size Samsung delivered with this phone I ve had it sense may and its not showing any lag or slowing down the battery last the battery last all day because your getting at least 8 to 9 hours on screen time which is more then enuff to get you through a day so I prefer the smaller model to the others because its easier to use with 1 hand and I've heard story about note 20 ultra people are only getting 7 to 8 hours on screen time
I had S10+ and switched to Note20, and I can surely tell you that 1440p is useless after I found out that my resolution on S10+ was set to 1080p WHOLE TIME, like almost 2 years of usage and I never set it to 1440p because it drains more battery and system reset it to 1080p after each restart. So why pay for something what you never use ?
Also plastic back is not such deal since everyone uses case so again paying for something you don't need.
One last thing 120hz that is what Note should have but again Samsung knows what customers use and keep those features and drop those who are useless, and maybe there were some problems with 120hz, or battery drain, idk but there is a reason why Samsung dropped that one.

The plastic back really isn't that big of a deal. The 120 hz is great but this note can run any game at high quality and you won't have no studder.

I'm using s20, but don't care about 120hz because battery drain very fast, I close it and back to 60hz. I prefer to buy note 20 now the price more cheaper 👍

No doubt. I hate my galaxy 8. I miss my Samsung 5. The s8 is small in the hand, curved, and its a slippy little sucker. I have dropped this phone quite a but and have a screen protector, it's got so many screen cracks in the. I never had any issues with my s5.
Look for the FE edition. It is a fan edition, which used the preference of the users more.

I have the S20 plus. I considered buying the Note 20, but after finding out that the battery was smaller and that there would not be be expandable memory, I decided not to. I know that could get the Note20 ultra and have these features, but I don't want to have a gigantic phone.

10 months later, Note 20 hasn't gone half the price yet.
Because Note is superior than S series. The S ultra is just a rebranding name for Note series. That is why S ultra is more expensive and more superior than the regular S series. I guess the reason they don't have the note line up anymore is because they got flip and fold series.

The Note 20 (classic) is a worst product for me. It's better in photos than Note 10+ but he have a bad front design. I'm very disapointed this year.
Can someone explain to me the differences between the note line and the galaxy line? As far as I know the only difference that I've noticed is the pen and the exterior shape.
On that note, it reminds me of apple, which I had for 10 years and just switched to a galaxy s20+. It appears to me like they are the same phone. Like a new iPhone every year. Same thing with slight differences.

Galaxys are phones made for phone use. Note lines are considered a "phablet" it's a tablet that has phone features.Thats pretty much the main difference. Do you want a phone or tablet

@@higguma While I do think plastic is not as premium, I agree with you on having phones be lighter. I don't think enough people talk about how heavy phones have gotten over the last few years. When i had the iPhone X I used to only be able to use it one-handed for a very short time because of how heavy it was. My new Note10 Lite is both bigger and lighter (bc of plastic and aluminium) than the old one.

External sd storage is technically slower than UFS 3.0 internal storage, but I doubt the difference is very noticeable at most tasks.

@@JesviJonathan apparently you're right, i have both right now and could've sworn i saw the same display settings.
There are still other options to mimic the settings (ex. Changing window animation speed and a few other things That can be tampered with performance wise) but 120hz does have an effect on battery life too.
Don't waste the money the phone is trash for the price all you get is a better camera this is my first and last galaxy way over priced and over hyped

The 120Hz is a game changer for me, it literally makes my eyes hurt when I use 60Hz. I regret nothing from buying the s20 plus and I won't need to upgrade for a few years.
