You think we were leaving leftys out? 🤣 come on Jerad! We designed it so there will be a left handed backspacer. That was the idea behind the wrap around backspacer. We wjll drop like 30 with the lefty backspacer installed and then have some extras for leftys who get a standard one and want to flip it. Excited to get Nick’s design out there!

@@windowbreezes Think it's more so that utility knife blade shapes are perfect for just that, utility type cuts. And being realistic, that's all that about 90% of us are doing day to day.

Thanks Jerad. I’m curious to know if there is a technical reason for blade manufacturers to build so many bad plunge grind. What is the point not allowing more than a few sharpening as it doesn’t change the design of the blade ?

If the holes where there for the left hand carry clip, it could sort the issue off the scale lifting... Just a thought

I hear you mention putting the lockbar cutout on the inside alot. I agree it looks and feels better, but it changes the geometry and is more likely to bend out when you increase the angle

I'm curious what you mean by not believing in reverse tanto, because the distinction between reverse tanto and sheepsfoot is the same as the distinction between clip point and drop point. One gets down to the tip with a rounded taper, and the other has a straight clip down to the tip, which gives the blade a more pokey tip.

Hey Jared I noticed (hope) that Kansept Turaco might have a hollow grind on it? Just wondering if it's a thicky behind the edge or if it gets relatively thin considering it's only a mid-height saber grind. Banger video bro, wouldn't mind picking up all of them lol
The Turaco is a flat grind but it's decently thin bte

Man stassa couldnt have teamed up with a better crew then Divo. That knife is gorgeous and functionality it just lookg ergonomically good. No finger grooves to force your hand in but what do I know😂 have a good one

I love Stassa, but sorry to say I'm really not digging that blade shape. I prefer a much finer/more acute tip for EDC.

I Love Staasa’s design but am really surprised that he is leaving the plunge ~ sharpening choil as is. Especially with him being someone who always points out a poor plunge grind ~ sharpening choil on any new knife design that passes though his hands & always advocates the benefits of having an optimal plunge grind ~ sharpening choil by giving the end user as much blade material as possible without having to modify or ruining the aesthetic of the blade. This extends the life of the knife and extends the buyer’s dollar without forcing the end-user having to do the work yourself (I know some don’t mind but as prices steadily increase I just expect certain things on the knives I choose to buy)….. I understand people could care less or may not use their knives to the point of needing to sharpen the blade but I’m now to the point that the plunge ~ sharpening choil is one of the most important details I have become a real stickler for me deciding if I will be purchasing that particular knife or not (Neeves knives has definitely increased my awareness for poor plunges). I am however one who likes putting my own edge on a new knife if it’s not up to my liking so the more thin material I have to sharpen with ease the more the knife is worth to me, in my opinion. I will have to hope Stassa will change this or if not wait for the V2. I believe Stassa said the lefties come with a different backspacer that has the left pocket clip option machined & tapped for the lefties. 🤙

I agree that a lot of clips could be better. However, I didn't realize people liked thick jeans. I hate thick jeans. Maybe those Perfect Jeans you wear aren't stiff and bulky feeling but most thick jeans are like wearing armor or something. Lol

I'm certainly not saying this as a negative, but Stassa's knife looks like a premium version of the Kizer Sheepdog. I mean that is not a negative at all, I will 100% be purchasing one of these knives when they come out!! I saw a prototype version that has a satin ground blade that's absolutely dope. I may end up buying two of them when they drop.

By "design", do we mean "got sent some pics and he picked his favorite"? Just curious because this style of branding is similar in the fragrance world. I see it allll the time. I do hope Stassa actually drew up the design himself.
