The craziest thing is that they not only write there own music, it's the same person that keeps providing these non-stop hits. Miku writes the lyrics, but the songs themselves are all written by Kanami. It's insane. All of these unique sounds and song structures are all from her mind.
Yep, it's what I love most about this band - Kanami's songwriting. She's so gifted, and such a music nerd (in good nerdy company with Misa and Akane lol) - I'm already excited thinking about what she'll come up with next.
Yeah even if some ppl "claim" they are putting the songs all together, it´s mainly Kanami and the lyrics from Miku. It´s no wonder Kanami is always a little bit of in interviews, i think she is ALWAYS thinking about a new riff and how she can use it to make a song out of it. She is a little genius!
@@Slippy6582 She said as much to Herman Li - he asked "now that you just released a new album is it time to relax?" Miku was kinda like "hmm I don't know" and Kanami was like "what do you mean? I never stopped working on new stuff"
@@IamStrangreen That's a relatively recent development, and Misa will write the bass lines after she learns what it is that Kanami has in mind for the part. The songs themselves tho pretty much all start in Kanami's fertile imagination. The band will tweak the songs (Saiki especially), and it will go back to Kanami to be hammered into final form. Even so, Misa appears to be serious now about songwriting, and she recently stated it as one of her personal goals for the band. I'm sure Kanami will assist Misa in every way to realize this, and I for one cannot wait to hear what those two come up with. Misa apparently had a large contribution to the song structure of No God, so if that song is any indication (I love that song), then I'm all in for Misa expanding her talents to songwriting.
With every song on UW, we're witnessing another evolution of Band-Maid right before our very eyes and ears. Band-Maid brings light, smiles and energy to our lives and is, imo, a world treasure!
So many twists and turns, the whole album is just a delight to the repeat listener. Always hearing something different to accent the song. It really shows the care that they take to make each track special. Uber Talented!
Band-Maid is what you get when you combine top-notch talent with creative genius. It is very rare. If they stopped right now, Kanami could go down in history as one of the greatest composers of all time. And we haven't even seen all they can do. Just wait until Kanami and MISA start doing vocal parts! They have crazy good voices.

Well, partially. Anybody know who or what "Tienowa" is? Producer, the band themselves as a production collaborative, the studio, Kanami's production alter-ego? Seems like it translates to "Circle of Wisdom." The only credits for "Tienowa" on Discogs are for Writing & Arrangement, Conducting & Leading, and Production, _all_ on Band-Maid material, nothing else.
@@stevehall5128 TIENOWA is either a person or a group that does production and arrangement. They are very underground and have never listed a real name that I could find on the internet. It is an odd stylization because nowhere in Hiragana, Katakana or Kanji is there a representation of the "ti" sound. Now, they are listed on some Kpop as wel and Korean does have representation of the "ti" sound so maybe they are Korean? I also found a reddit post linking them to Being Inc. a private music company in Japan, but I could not confirm that from anything online. If I had to guess, it is somebody Kanami knows and works with when working through ideas. They are just too underground to be doing anything truly substantial with a band as commercially successful as Band-Maid when compared to their other works.

Fckin Yes! Someone finally got to this Masterpiece. Easily my fav track off the album & in my top 3 all time. Thank you. Totally made my day. Btw yeah this is all them, more specifically Kanami the lead guitarist, songwriter & arranger. She is well versed in all steps of the production process. AKane47 on the drums! We can hear a little from MISA too but, Kanami's guitar shines bright on this one. "I can't live without you" would be a good choice, since not many people have reacted to it yet it's mad crazy. Such an underrated song from them if you ask me
Giovanni is my favorite in this album but this song is one of my top 3. Black Hole isn't my favorite but it's also great. Prog speed metal-ish I'd say.
