I know I probably not in the popular opinion here but I am not liking Mean Girl Susan. We get it, you don't approve but I think it was a bit over the top, and probably just to get reactions.
The UK washcloth habit is I think from the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser which was really popular in the early 2000s (I think). It was quite the rage and probably got everyone on to the muslin cloth facewash technique. Or the Eve Lom Cleansing balm was popular then too, also using a cloth.
I`m always surprised when celebrities have such simple and basic routines. If I had their wealth I would have the best skin people behind me guiding me and creating the best routine for my skin, with no limit to expenses lol.
Expensive is not always good or effective, though. And a lot of people know that, which is why they use the regular stuff that has just the same benefit than the overpriced ones.
When I hear simple + “natural” I can’t help but go back THE ONE ☝🏻 routine which almost sent Susan into labor: Bella Thorne’s. EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!!!😂 3:13
Your suggestion how celebrities should promote their products straight forward is a great idea. I would absolutely prefer it that way. Makes it more authentic and believable in my opinion.

I do exactly the same as you! I take my make up off & do a simple routine of a toner, active and moisturiser, late afternoon, and then later before bed I apply my tretinoin and a night mask, before bed.

Flossing is a very American thing to do. Most people in Europe don’t floss their teeth, but they still don’t walk around around with a disgusting mess in their mouth. So calm down, Susan, I’m sure we’re all good, brushing our teeth diligently.
Is it a very American thing? I’m from the UK and our dentists tell you to floss. Floss sticks are a standard product you can buy anywhere in UK not sure about other parts of Europe x

Idk how I feel when she said she likes her makeup after she slept with it, I would never do it but there was one time that I hooked up with a guy and accidentally fell asleep while cuddling afterwards… when I woke up and left that morning my makeup looked intact (def much lighter) and surprisingly my skin ACTUALLY looked best it has been in a while after I removed my makeup. I was in shock. 😅

Nope. My makeup looks FANTASTIC the next day. It's melted into my skin.. my eye makeup is smokier.. I LOVE IT. Its not a 90s look. BUT I DO KNOW ITS BAD FOR ME AND I DON'T DO IT ANYMORE. I just absolutely disagree with "there is no way it looks better." 🤷♀️
I so rarely see anyone use cleansing balms "correctly." Ie massaging them into the skin thoroughly, adding water, emulsifying the product on the skin, then rinsing them off. They are meant to rinse clean, no washcloth needed.
I hoped Susan would react to this routine! Another reason to floss and brush first is that I find if I floss after the routine, the floss slips out of my fingers because of the products that are on them!
I have to say I’m a huge fan of your products. Thank you for creating and they are affordable. I use your Naturium The Multi-Vitamin Daily Nutrient as my face wash. I will never go back to anything else. I am going to try the body wash glow one as my makeup remover. For my 1st wash soon. Your products are my only. I can’t wait to try your lip balm. I swear by your products. I used to only buy Tatcha and I said let me try Naturium, I let go of tatcha. I hope one day you venture into skin care makeup.

A thing about washcloths. I don't use them on my face. We use detergents to clean them and if you have particularly sensitive skin it might not be a great idea. Hands and water. Finding detergents that don't smell like a perfume counter is a whole other category of struggle.
I do not appreciate people doing make up only to show up and rest of the day they removing it. ( you Susan ;) ) I like to have make up that is not too heavy to have to remove it as soon I am back home. AND flossing is not healthy according to new science.
