I feel so angry that nobody warned me about perimenopause and menopause. Even my poor Dad (bless his soul), who was a family doctor, had no clue and told me that my symptoms would go away and that I shouldn’t take hormones bc they were dangerous!!! To be fair, my dad and most MDs were taught little about menopause and relied on now outdated studies linking hormones and cancer. We women have been denied care and still have to face condescending doctors. If it were men suffering from these symptoms, science would have advanced at warp speed. I feel I went through hell bc of mysogynistic organized medecine. Thank God specialists like you now exist!!! I am grateful for you. I will now advocate for my health with better information.
agreed!! that is also why i am making it my personal mission to share my experiences with anyone who will listen!! i didnt even know there was a thing called PERI Menopause until a few months ago. spent a year of my life thinking im going crazy. being told its stress. youre too young for menopause!
I just found a obgyn that is recently certified for HRT treatments. Started two weeks ago. The progesterone made me a bit dizzy for an hour. Didn't correlate the dizzy at first to the meds. 1st time in two weeks. Next will be testosterone for libido

Can you tell me how did you know it was the progesterone and not the estradiol if they are taken together?
