So with this play through over I'll make a statement. I know I missed the nightmare frontier and the Third Ending and the chalice dungeons.
To be fair probably NONE of you got all that done your first play through either, its called blind for a reason.
I may do a fireside Bricky for missed content in the future but all in all this was my blind play through and I dont plan on doing a ton more for it. It was a long, fun, and crazy game. I look forward to some NG+ in the future too. Thanks for sticking with me!

Can I just say I was really impressed with how well you were able to piece the story together with the little knowledge you were able to obtain from item descriptions, cutscenes, etc. You were really on point with a lot of it!!
I understand missing shit bricky but chalice dungeons are a huge part of the game... cant believe your friend didnt give you any heads up.

I'm saying Bricky probably would have killed Gehrman on his first try if not for the Playstation pop-up, just going off how much HP he had left, and the number of blood vials.

The popup didn't interfere with the game at all. Bricky decided to pay attention and respond to it seconds after it showed up, even though he knew he could've ignored it.
He even said "oops", indicating it was his mistake.

My favorite part is that people in the comments are completely forgetting that this is a "blind" playthrough.
AKA he had no idea of any extra content, cause I'm damn sure none of you knew on your own without being told/shown.
And still exploration is a thing. Or he cud have edited in the parts he could have found during NG+ or whatever.
Cute but he already said his friend told him about multiple optional areas & guided him to them, he also either googled stuff or talked to friends about a bunch of enemies as he knew the names of ones that aren't named in the game (Executioners, Winter Lanterns etc.) and told him about the "Refuse" ending. No problems in missing or not going to certain areas, just don't use the "blind playthrough" excuse when it isn't a blind playthrough XD

I just binged the whole series over a weekend and I forgot how much i loved this game with the feelings it can bring.
Yes the story is hard to understand (souls like games) yes some secrets are SO obscure its impossible to find without a guide but I still feel a hole in my soul when the ending comes to be.
Loved all the hard work and amazing gameplay bricky! Look forward to catching up on more of your series.

please do a new game plus play through. It is a lot harder. so good luck. there are actually 4 umbilical chords you can get. you only need to consume 3 however for the ending.

syarif Mirza yea so did I when I saw the name "third umbilical cord", but they are all called " third" and in typical FromSoftware fashion, there are actually 4 of them. the fourth one is acquired by eventually killing an NPC you can invite back to the cathedral in Cathedral Ward. Its actually easier to get than the one from Iosefka that Bricky mentioned.

are you kidding? yeah moon is way easier than gehrman, but lore wise, its design, and the music are spot on, Moon Presence is smaller and more frail then other great ones, its body wasn't made to fight, that's why it used gehrman and the hunters to do its dirty job

Mr.King it's the most selfish though. Gehrman is still screwed and the hunt will happen again one day. Squid ending is best, because as a great one, you have the power required to end the hunt forever, and to guide humanity to greatness. You also put Gehrman to rest.

If you give her the broach she asks you later for a safe place, but she never gets there if you tell her. You can then go to the sewer where the pig was kill the pig and get her clothes I think which says she basically died on the way there. Then you find she has a sister when you go back to the house and you give the sister her clothes who then kills herself.

While I'm glad you loved the game as much as we do, I still think it sucks how over-leveled you were after the DLC content, which should've been done right after the Wet Nurse, in my opinion. You finished the game around level 90, while most people finished it closer to the 70 (I did, anyway). At your level, your natural defense and health were high enough that you could face-tank hits from bosses and survive. For bosses like Ebrietas, learning how to dodge their attacks is the way to succeed at the appropriate level. Unfortunately, she got stuck on terrain in your fight with her, on top of you already having a +10 Rakuyo, which is already a very strong weapon. Good on you for fighting Gherman with the Stake Driver instead, though.
I'm not mad that you finished the game, but things could've been so much more challenging and fun in the main game (like the Upper Cathedral and Nightmare of Mensis) if you waited a bit longer to do the DLC.
Still, congrats on finding the new love of your life, Brick. Now get cracking on those chalice dungeons! That's where the real threats are!
I just love how the soulsborne series has some bosses that are still freakin strong even tho they have a disabilty. You just want to see in their prime. Gherman old one Leg, artorias corrupted one arm, gwyn etc
bricky each great one is unique in form and character only one thing ties them together. they are all sympathetic in nature gherman wanted to relive the days of the hunter for eternity so he used the one third cord to wish the hunters dream. but with a price that those who pass the dream must kill a great one that is the characteristic of the moon presence

Mergo might be formless like his wet nurse, cuz his wet nurse was just a floating pile of cloths and you got nightmare slain when you killed it so maybe the wet nurse was a great one meaning couldve been invisible. Idk

Damn those were some epic bosses. Top 4 have to be Father Gascoigne, Ludwig (holy blade), Gehrman and Lady Maria (from 4 to 1). Great playthrough and content as usual :)

Have to say, Bricky's massive health bar kinda killed the tension of the Gehrman fight. Even for being overleveled, 43 Vitality is insanely high. Boss becomes a lot less threatening when you have enough HP to survive potential one-shot attacks. I mean, Bricky's probably the only person I've seen who can tank Frenzy just from raw HP.
I mean, who here would be pleased with him uploading his entire next playthrough? Like this was a fun game and agreat walkthrough, I wanna see the Bloody crow of cainhurst, and moonpresence lol

Nostalgia, and story. It's just cruel to use the weapon of Gehrman's friend/crush to kill him. Bricky, even if he gets it wrong sometimes, cares very much about the story in these games. So I guess he's back at his same tricks in that regard too.

Hi bricky, I have been watching you quite alot recently and I love your content. Bloodborne is one of my favorite games of all time. I was wondering if you could do the chalice dungeons, there is plenty of difficulty and bosses/enemies you can only see in the chalice dungeons and they are procedurally generated I believe. So if you could that would be great

It is a bit disappointing that you won't even touch the chalice dungeons, or get to see the "real final boss". But still, I think this is the best way to end the playthrough. Gehrman is such a good boss that the other one feels underwhelming in comparison. Gehrman is probably the best final boss I've fought in any game.
