Very nice Chris, my humble opinion is that if you don't need urgently the money of selling the New Holland, just keep it, good back up machine and it will sell for good money later as a good taking care-of machine in future
I'd stay with tracks and the Kubota, have heard too many bad things about the New Holland but the choice is yours. Thanks for sharing Chris and hope you have a blessed week my friend.
200 hours isn't serious. About a month use around my workplace. Very limited experience with skid steers. Primary Bobcat. I have delivered aftermarket tracks so I know that they are heavy. Our New Holland dealer became Kubota too. Thank you Chris.
I had one tire machine, went to tracks and will never go back to tires..... When you get to the point of new tracks, put the gripper tracks on the Kubota, you'll never be sorry in the traction you'll have....Kubota is a good machine. Thanks Chris,
Kubota and JD have great financing and warranties , but I didn't know KUBOTA had that program for dealer rental fleet equipment. That is another option for folks. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent solution 😁😁 I can say from several years of seat time on those Kubotas, you won't be disappointed!! 😉That is crazy how the clearance is so low around the tire. I wonder if that was intentional to keep new machines from having tracks added easily 🤔 I had no idea other than bobcat you could still get foot controls. 😁 I remember laughing at joysticks when they came out, and even hurt a few feelings with my old 885 and that 190 of my couisns, before taking the plunge. Bobcat machines in my opinion are the smoothest to grade with having foot controls. But would love to operate a newer New Holland like you have to see 😁Thank you sir for the update, and look fwd to seeing the review and choice on the NH's future 😉 😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
I feel the same way, though I don't know why they would care if you put tracks on them. The more stuff you break, the more money they make! 😁 We had a T300 years ago. It was pilot controls- wasn't a bad machine. Thank you sir!!
As long as you have work for it getting another machine is a great idea. As for used equipment it all comes down to price. Keeping your equipment indoors is the best way to make it last longer.
where i live in pa i have all the brands hmm green is like 10miles but to pricey and case is about 14 miles new holland is about 25 miles / one thing id like to ask is at least around here famers dont really use tractor with loaders everyone is going all skid steer ? any main reason to that ? jw thanks
I would imagine the skid steer is just built way better for loader work and is extremely versatile compared to a loader on a tractor. Most loader tractors will take a beating on the front axle and steering components. The skid steers can take more of a beating.
I am curious if a tracked machine will be able to completely replace a tired machine. One thing in particular is plowing snow on ice. Being able to put tire chains on is a huge advantage. Thanks Andy 🙂
I think you found a good solution to your track problem! Having only used skid steers with foot pedal controls for forty years I can't imagine how clumsy I'd be trying to operate a joystick machine .🥲

I agree with your advice- thank you Jan!!
Well at least Chris you do not have any shortage of equipment. It’s nice to have a deep bench.
I have too much equipment 😂
That Kubota skidsteer looks to be a really nice upgrade for your operation there. I foresee a "For Sale" sign in the New Holland's future. Take care.
That is definitely a possibility. Thank you Ron!!

I haven't spent much time in a Bobcat machine, but they seem to be popular. Thanks Bryce!!

I will have to look into that style of track- I appreciate the tip. Thank you for stopping by!

To answer the question... YES!!!
We enjoyed the convenience of having 2, for many years.. the last 10 years, only have one doing everything..
I think that may happen to us too. Once you get used to having two around it's hard to go back to only one. Thank you Ed!!

I completely agree. And I always keep things indoors when not in use 🙂 Thanks!!

For fast and efficient loader work, it's hard to beat the maneuverability and hydro trans in a skidsteer. Thanks for watching!
@@Jason1Pa Well said!
thanks for the info and sure thing i enjoy watching ur videos .@@dehavenfamilyfarm
I smell a trade in coming😅
Possibly- time will tell 😉 Thanks!!
Or trade it in for one with tracks 😂
Or buy it outright 😂

I think you would catch on quickly. Both my wife and son were able to operate the Kubota pretty well their first time out. Thanks Pete!!
