3.3 is nothing to sneeze at. the explosion moved the plate enough to be felt by humans. That's impressive, if not terrifying.
I was about to say chat is so stupid for saying that's nothing 😂 An explosion caused that bro that's a huge amount of force for something just catching fire and blowing up on accident.
3 is the bare minimum humans can feel. Still very impressive. 3 Kilotons of explosive!!! In comparison the Nuke dropped in Hiroshima was 15 kT.
@@shanewicklund815 Anybody saying that a 3.3 is "nothing" has no perspective on just how incredibly massive the plates of the Earth's crust are. To create a vibration in a plate for hundreds of kilometers in each direction takes a very very powerful force.

Know this, Truman essentially said the same thing about the atom bomb. The bomb would save millions of lives. And this scientist thought this gas would do the same before Truman did of the bomb. A man who did a great thing, but also a terrible one in a war with no heroes.
Truman didn't learn from history it seems then.
@@JarinCOD Truman did a bad thing but his act did save more lives than those who died. The invasion of Japan called for at least a million American soldiers and considering how the Japanese had already fought by then there would have just as many Japanese military and Civilian casualties without even combining them.
The person who made the first machine-gun said the exact same thing as well lol. Yet all that invention was used for was the colonization of Africa.
@@Mgl1206 Typical american propaganda, yeah let's use banned weapons because they can save more lives, I hope that in the event of a direct war with Russia they also are that bright "we can save more lives if we nuke moscow!" they shout as nukes are dropping all over America.

People treating this guy as a villain when the Entente also used chemical warfare is hilarious to me. Germany may have used it first, but the British, French, and Russians all had chemical weapons nearby ready to use not even just a few days later.

How does other people doing the same thing make him less of any awful person? Two wrongs don't make a right. My parents taught me that when I was like 12 years old.
@@llama6394 it’s just the fact that if you call him a villain simply for helping in the war then America should be painted as a villain too because they killed millions aswell
He indirectly killed millions during the war but saving billions is still a massive W for his image
indirectly?
He only saved an amount of peoples lives by the period in which another person would have invented the same thing if he didn't exist. Same with the killings of millions. So we can logically think that he only likely killed hundreds of thousands and saved millions if it were to be true that his inventions would still come later even if he didnt exist
just think every scientist is researching biochem weapon he discovered it first would you use it to save your family in exchange of the whole neighborhood or would you let the whole neighborhood abuse it in exchange of your families life
ez answer fuck everybody you dont know you save what is precious to you I don’t care if I were to be painted a villain I am not like the bridgemaster who let her daughter died in exchange for a whole train even if I go to prison in life or even death penalty I’ll still do it just for the sake of my love ones
Indirectly? It was literally his goal to create it as a weapon, obviously he knew it would kills thousands if not millions.

the thing is (just to let you know I'm not German), not all Germans were Nazis at the time (as you know yourself ofc) and a big show to that was the German Operation Valkyrie at the time, aimed to take down the Nazi goverment... So, in my opinion, coming from a fellow European county, Germans never did mistakes of a level for which they are with effort atoning till today, empires who did far worse in history like the Roman empire, or the Catholic church, are being praised today for their great contributions to humanity, (regardles of doing the most unhumane things in human hisotry) and for a fact, the second world war contributed to humanity in so many benificial ways like advancing medicine, and agriculture, and other, that it is sad to see the end result of Germany paying back to the world because of a gulit that is not theirs to begin with

Lmao xqc saying that eV is valence electron had me dead
Yea Einstein played a big part in the discovery of the nuke and said if it wasn’t him then it would’ve been the enemy. That’s kinda the philosophy this guy probably had.
What?? Einstein didn't discover the nuke you donkey. It was Oppenheimer.... ''Now I am become death, destroyer of worlds''
Smartest Juicer right there folks... jesust
edit;; spelt Oppenheimer wrong
“Fearful that the Germans would beat WWII Allies to a nuclear weapon, physicist Albert Einstein wrote to FDR, urgently pushing America's A-bomb development. But after the devastation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, he and many scientists on the project publicly expressed deep regret”
Point is he played a big role in its development. Also based on that urged the USA to hurry up… so I think he had a big part in it. The point still stands anyway, without Einstein’s work, and urgent request to the Manhattan project. (He wasn’t allowed to work on it due to being a security risk) The nuke was created. So he had a ton of impact in the making of the nuke. I’ll edit it for you.
Einstein Suggested the development of nuke because "If we don't do it first the Nazis would do it first".
@Phil Wahnfried No one said he did tho
Stop being such a disingenuous fool. Einstein didn't work in the Manhattan project or even help in it. He did scientific research and his work was used by someone else to do harm. But that's not his fault or responsibility, any scientific research can be used to do harm. The guy in the video is different though, because he put effort into creating chemical weapons
He was a great guy that did a lot of good for his country and the rest of the world. It hurts me how the nazis discredited and defamed him just because of him being jewish, especially since he was a patriot that loved his country.
My great great grandfather died from chemical weapons, he died several years after the war from the severe damage to his lungs.

I think x was trying to say that the reason different volts are needed to break the bonds are because of different number of valence electrons which I’m pretty sure he’s right
In a sense yeah, but what you learn in school is dumbed down and not scientifically accurate. Its about what electron shell and orbital the electrons occupy that matters. So a Nitrogen has the shells 1s^2 2s^2 2p^3= 7 valence electrons, a p orbital can fit 6 total so its missing 3 electrons to be filled, tripple bonding with another nitrogen gives it the p^6 orbital which is highly stable. Lets say a molecule or atom has a p^5 its missing only 1 electron, making it highly likely to react to fill its outer orbital, or release them if the thing it reacts with has a very high electro negativity Im a chemist but a bit rusty on this, but thats the general concept.
@@Mas-ij3ti I know, that’s why I said it was correct. But I guess chat just wanted to troll him.

He was just selfish. Neither bad nor good. Kinda psychopathic if you think about it. Who else goes to do mass murder the next day his wife commits suicide due to the same reason. Einstein isn't a hero because eventually someone else would have figured out general relativity...
Doubt it.
@xzil2167 a lot of Einstein's discoveries were greatly hinted at before Einstein discovered them. Einstein was the first one to make the logical conclusion of the speed of light being the same in all reference frames. You'll notice a lot of the formulas, equations and discoveries in Relativity are named after people other than Einstein.
Even General Relativity, albeit in a lesser form, was discovered by David Hilbert almost independently (I say almost because he had heard one lecture from Einstein which gave him the idea to try and make GR his own discovery and he made far more progress in a much shorter amount of time due to simply being better at math than Einstein).
