I have the Timeless Ti .95 and Slim. Still trying to figure out which one I like more. Subtle differences with each razor, but I love me my Timeless. This company actually stocks up and sells razors with great customer service. Not all do, even though they are trying to build a premium brand. Thanks for the video!

I just ordered one. I shave in the shower and the Spiral grip is not exactly what I have been looking for. I even coated it with rubber. I think the Crown might solve the problem. Thanks!

Great shave bro. This didn’t have a lot of blade feel but was nice and efficient and I also love the lather channels. Glad you enjoyed it. I try to shave everyday but sometimes I go 2-3 days of no shaving if I have busy days
@@TheKraken2019 you can get them on amazing or probably any hardware store . They’re called M5 washers . Maggards had them but I think they sold out but others will have them

I had the same exact experience. Gave up on Titanium Blackbird and got this with Crown handle. Their marketing makes it sound much more aggressive than it is. It is a lot of fun to use. I haven’t used anything else since I got it (4 shaves). To be fair, it’s my first titanium razor so I’m sure that’s part of the honeymooning.

@@TheKraken2019 I ended up selling it for more or less the same reason. It wasn’t necessarily inefficient but the Blackbird was hands down more efficient. I would have to clean up less than I would with the TiSlim. I also found the blade feel not far off. Tibird might have a little bit more but I could use that razor daily since it has pretty good blade clamping. That’s just my personal experience so hope that helps

I didn’t like the machine to finish on my brand new Slim Ti. Fortunately there was no issue returning it for a refund. I immediately bought the polished version. That would have been my ‘forever’ razor had I not gotten the Blackbird. Per John’s question, yes, I wish I needed to shave every day so I could enjoy my razors and different soaps more often.
Opulence.....it speaks for itself. I have to keep myself from running through that attention snagger. It was my first DG purchase. Still overwhelmingly satisfied with that purchase alone. It's in the top 3 of my hellafied shave den as we speak.

I shave daily. Less likely to get ingrown hairs when I do that. I also use the alum block after each shave. I got the Slim baseplate yesterday. It is very efficient. Probably more efficient than the .95 baseplate.
I'm a daily shaver because I'm an unrepentant addict, but many of my best shaves have come after two days of growth. Perhaps I should take a hint, but I refuse to give up my daily ritual 🤪 I've heard a few people say now they find the slim more comfortable than the 0.95, which is pretty surprising. Can't always go by blade gap I guess. I picked up a .95 recently and found it too much for daily shaving, so this might hit the sweet spot. Consider me enabled 😩

Honestly, Timeless' tolerances are the tightest I have seen on a razor regardless of price, I am obsessed with my .68, and thinking about getting the OC version.
I would shave twice a day if my face could take it. After getting out of the shower I feel a pull to my razor but I usually shave once a day. I will admit that my skin prefers every other day though.

Nice sounds like a winning combination. I shave everyday if I can and use different razors for the sake of variety and seeing what works best on a consistent basis for me
Why do you think razors with similarly rigid designs differ in their smoothness? Is it angle of blade? Some razors dont hold the blade as securely as others, which is why they give more chatter, but something with a design like the Timeless or Karve should theoretically be very similar in how they shave.
I liked the Karve I don’t recall saying one was more smooth over the other. Something with more exposure or a bigger gap can feel less/more smooth on the face to me . Maybe it’s the angle too? Not sure. That’s just my experience yours might be different. For example the Carbon .68 had a small gap but the exposure was just too aggressive for me while others seem to love it so YMMV . Maybe I’ll do a comparison for fun
While your brushes do look good and I'm sure are utterly amazing, would you not prefer more aesthetic handles? They are very plain especially compared to the virtual groomrooms brush collection.

Hi John, great shave thank you. I have the timeless aluminium which gives me a great shave and is plenty aggressive for me. I tend to shave every other day which is fine for me. How would you compare the timeless aluminium with the Karve aluminium and with which plate? I think I'm pulled toward the karve but could be persuaded towards the timeless, just not sure which to opt for!
The Timeless aluminum didn’t feel too aggressive for me personally . I think it’s a great daily shaver having a .45 mm gap and + exposure . I think I wanted a little more weight and efficiency but still great as a daily shaver. I haven’t tried the Karve Aluminum so I can’t comment on that one . One thing I’ll say about karve is once you get it down it’s great! Thanks for watching Chris
