Bad Apple is full screen full motion video, not pre-rendered graphics, along with the music of course. All very cpu intensive. Also this demo was made for the 4.77 MHz 8088 IBM PC which is much more impressive than running it on a 486 like in this video.
That's awesome. Love that optical zoom noise with the camera too. I have the exact same monitor sitting right next to me as I type this!
3:41 bad apple
Incredible! Love the striping artifacting when the system is pushed to its limits when too much changes on screen.
Now let's this CGA Demo on a 8088 😏
That's actually what it was written for (hence the name 8088 Domination). ua-cam.com/video/MWdG413nNkI/v-deo.html
impressive, where did u get the demo from?
I think, here: www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=63591
Why does it always end up at bad apple. I dont understand it,.. its pure monochrome, how is this a feat? Back in the day we used to run doom.
This is my first time actually seeing "Bad Apple" as opposed to hearing of it, &... I'm not getting it; what was the appeal?
Cool demo, though

@@_Thrackerzod yeah i get that. I am just wondering why this ended up being the standard.
It's meant for a Composite monitor. You're not doing this demo justice. :P
Yeah, part 1 looks much better in color. You can see it on an RGB monitor, but it doesn't look as good.

CGA Demo "8088 Domination" on a 486-DX2 50
ayy Bad Apple 👍
Thats my old computer :)
on my channel: with green phoshpor! 😊
Cool, I guess. But a 486 DX2 can handle full-screen full-motion video that looks a whole lot better.
Stop moving the damn camera!

One of the " demo's" with the witch biting the apple is actually a Touhou remix song called bad apple.
