The M1a1 carbine looks allot better as a secondary for 1st recon than the Deagle, it fits the NCR aesthetic with its wood furniture and you dont have to keep taking your scope off for close encounters with the M21. Kinda makes me wonder why they never added an M1 carbine of some sort in Fallout New Vegas since they had the garand.
