We usually eat the ones that is grilled and not deep fried, its easy to remove parts if its not covered with flour.

I enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for keeping an open mind and willing to try things out. You are right about the Vigan longanisa. It is from the city of Vigan. It is not as sweet as the traditional longanisa. Have you ever tried the grilled food that are usually sold on most corners. They grill a variety of skewered sticks like Isaw (chicken or pork intestine), hot dogs, adidas (chicken feet), and a lot more variety. I saw you were looking at them in the beginning of the video, but they are fried. The grilled ones are very good in my opinion.

Adding condensed milk is actually a modern take when adding it to rice cakes. We usually just put coconut or cheese on top.

That duran duran is dinuguan or pig blood stew in english. Derived from the word dugo which is blood in english. Pepple cook it in variety of consistency ramging from being soupy to dry. I guess the one you've goten is the dry one which is more suited for snacking and beer drinking.

Is it normal to be charged 50 pesos for taho? Because in other provinces you can get some for 10 pesos only.

Filipino here. I just tasted once in my life the chicken head and never eat again. It's just skin that I can eat. The rest are bones. Accurate rating 1 out of 10. 👌
But they still sell it, maybe other Filipinos eat the bones.

In India we dont eat it. Different cultures different taste. But philippines a lovely place to stay and for foodies.
