Heads up! I uploaded this video yesterday and had it up for about 30 minutes before realizing we had an editing mistake in there. I fix those problems and uploaded it today. Hope you all enjoy it, and to those of you who saw this yesterday. Thanks for being the first ones to my videos! 💪🏼💪🏼
When fishing with chicken livers you should go buy a pair of pantyhose and use pieces of the pantyhose as little bags to put the liver in stays on the hook guaranteed.
As always love it! I know you busy doing big things. Always great to catch a vid. Btw, named my pup Golden Retriever Monty Reef and last name..lol. y'all need more butter fingers for Ol Reef!!
Little house boat tip for them summertime bugs, get you an electric leaf blower to blow all the bugs off the door area that way you don’t have to worry about any entering when you do.
Catch and cook meet up would be really cool. Everyone meet up early and go get it! Meet some where after for fish fry.. im down ill bring kayak from Va!! Leggo!! 😂😂
@JigginWithJordan have you considered curtains? to hide the light from the inside.. then put some lights on top of the boat to attract them away from the doors, but you can still see your house boat on the water might help with the bugs..
Thank you so much Brandon for this cool, relaxing video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love you too❤. I love your doggy❤, and your shipmates❤❤. God bless you all🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏, and looking forward to your next video👍, can't wait😊😊☺️🤗
I grew up in the 80s going to are old lake cabin every weekend of summer. Renting house boats on lakes out of state. And fishing salt water and fresh water. I love these videos reminds me of the great childhood I had. Riding out a nice rain storm laying around in the A/C after you've been sun burnt and wore out swimming playing the lake all day.... Heaven
You guys should hang screen on the side of the boat that has the overhang.... Then put a solar powered light on the end of the boat on the outside of the screened in porch area so all the bugs go there and then you guys can go in and out of the boat. You should get rolling screen that can drop down electrically... That way you can roll them up when you're driving ..... Electric ones would be easier to install .... The nautical bros would be all over that shit ;)
Love the videos, and good luck on the F1 race! Food for thought, consider swapping to green lights on the catch and cook boat. Something about green lights attracts far fewer insects.
Dude put an auxiliary tank on your house boat for the generator like a hundred gallon tank or even just fifty ... Pump etc fill the other boat jer skinwhatever needs it. But mostly keep that generator going withough refueling so much etc 🤘🤘💪💪 just an idea bro keepkit up man cool stuff
Those mayflies are crazy bad. I don't know if it matters much with mayflies since they are so thick by you but those low intensity weird blue lights on campers are hard to detect for bugs. Otherwise amberlights so yellow, pink or orange spectrum lights are in the 590-600 nanometers don't attract bugs and white to bright blue are 450 or less nanometers which bugs like. You could wire sets of lights next to your others with a rocker switch to turn your boat on bug light mode. You can even set up so you can turn on one color of lights on outside one end of the boat and leave the other color on the end you are using outside to lure them away.
Maybe bring a battery operated leaf blower and blow those mayflies away from the door they'll come back but it will give you enough time to get back in?
You should put red led lights by the door and use those when you go in and out of the cabin. Turn all the other lights off and only use the red light any time you open the door. They are drawn to the white and blue light. Might help with some of the bug issue
Do the meet up at Stockton lake there's always a lot of people and a lot of fish I promise me and my friends go fishing there here and there but we caught a 19 pound cat
just a suggestion, but pull down black shades on both door windows so at night you can pull them down. that way the bugs are attracted to the window lights, not the doors. and boom, less worry about bugs being on the door when you open it.
You should screen in the back part of your houseboat so you don't have to worry about bugs when you go outside at night and you could do the front part of the boat as well
Maybe look into wrapping the back with screen. And make a small screen door to climb out water on back and access back from boat. And can make a little hatch to get to motor if need be so don’t have to fight bugs as much
That’s where I grew up! ❤❤❤ I live up north now but hope to venture south permanently again one day! Thankful and blessed I do get to visit every year though!
love the videos! we had the same problem with bugs in our camper. We added a stick style vaccuum and i learned one night that you can vaccuum up the bugs pretty easily with it!
Hi Everyone, Awesome video and have you tried getting some good quality bug repellant for the house boat or some good quality outdoor bug zappers for on the house boat porches near the doors to keep them from coming inside with you or even those screens for doors that can keep them outside, just some ideas for ya's for keeping the bugs out of the house boat and Reef is awesome
Have you thought about putting in yellow lights so the bugs aren't as attracted? You could switch from white for filming to yellow when not filming or whatever.
You should make the front area have roll down screens to keep the bugs out can use velcro or go as fancy as you want but would also keep the boat cleaner
Dude I tried the Frank's Red Hot seasoning on some catfish about a month ago and now I eat it on everything but we use the powder instead of the liquid but still freaking amazing... Thanks for the idea brother
At 9:07 that houseboat should not lean like that there is ether to much wait on on side or the pontoons are filling with water and if the pontoons are filling up with water you need to get that fixed because it can cause slower speed bad mpg or even it sinking
I'm so glad you guys had a great time out on my home lake I've lived and fished that lake my hole life and honestly made one of my dreams come true on meeting you I've watched you for years since you started in Georgia and have always wanted to meet you and I've seen you every were driving around winter haven or to Shiner sams just never had the time to stop and talk to you but thank you for giving me and my wife that time and letting us pet Reef it was a wonderful experience and hope to see you again some day and keep up the great work man love the videos

Little house boat tip for them summertime bugs, get you an electric leaf blower to blow all the bugs off the door area that way you don’t have to worry about any entering when you do.
Glad to see a survival with a rain storm. Nothing like kicking back snuggling with the pooch during a storm.

Loved seeing y’all watching Ayo and Norm supporting fellow UA-camrs. Collab?? 🤔🤔🤔

One of my favorite bits of these challenges is the food y'all make. It's like watching Binging with Babish on the water.

Love your videos!! My 8 year old is obsessed watching you and yappy! We’ll be there on Sunday to watch you race. He hopes to meet you in person.
Hey Brandon go to a Yellow Light for outside. It should help with the bugs.
I would definitely love to see you do a video with Norm and Ayo! That fried rice would make Uncle Roger proud... Probably not, though🤣

Excellent Catch n Eat segment!
So lucky to have all of you cook so well. I can't boil water
A gator and hog roast MEAT and greet would be cool. I love to smoke meats. Day one was great
Maybe bring a battery operated leaf blower and blow those mayflies away from the door they'll come back but it will give you enough time to get back in?

That looked a little sketchy staying on the water with that storm heading toward you. 😬🌧️
Love this video. Thank you.
You should screen in the back part of your houseboat so you don't have to worry about bugs when you go outside at night and you could do the front part of the boat as well
Funny hearing Norm and Ayo on your tv in the background.

Maybe look into wrapping the back with screen. And make a small screen door to climb out water on back and access back from boat. And can make a little hatch to get to motor if need be so don’t have to fight bugs as much
You need some googles for those mayflies during the late night bathroom breaks for Reef

PLEASE DO THE MEETUP AT A SANDBAR
Bring a leaf blower next time for the mayflies. That might help.
You should put a walking platform on top the houseboat.

Need to get yall some yo-yo’s (spring loaded fishing reels) to hang off the house for overnights. They fish while you sleep!
Need to get Flair out there for a good catch and cook

🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 from Wyoming brother
Have you thought about putting in yellow lights so the bugs aren't as attracted? You could switch from white for filming to yellow when not filming or whatever.
A green light set up under the boat will be cool and it will attract fish
Love the support for ayo!!
Should get a leafblower to blow the May flies away from the door
The best Sammich ❤
You need a leaf blower !! Blow all the bugs away !!!

Sunday is my birthday! So all make my wish for you to place in that race! Good Luck Bro!!!
Hey to help out with the bug problem on boats instead of using white lights us red
I’m down for a giant catch and cook on a sand bar somewhere
You should make the front area have roll down screens to keep the bugs out can use velcro or go as fancy as you want but would also keep the boat cleaner
Dude I tried the Frank's Red Hot seasoning on some catfish about a month ago and now I eat it on everything but we use the powder instead of the liquid but still freaking amazing... Thanks for the idea brother
I put that s*** on everything!!! Now I see why granny loved it so much
At 9:07 that houseboat should not lean like that there is ether to much wait on on side or the pontoons are filling with water and if the pontoons are filling up with water you need to get that fixed because it can cause slower speed bad mpg or even it sinking
I been using it to look for fishing spots. They give a good 3d pic of the grounds u like fish in. Even the cliff elevations.
Love me some AYO fishing!
Probably should’ve checked the weather lol😂 love your videos
