Hello Prof. Kana Sureshan, I wouldn't have words to convey my gratitude to you for helping me to disabuse a tonne of my blind misunderstanding about chemicals being used in cultivation of vegetables. I was under the impression that vegetables grown using chemicals are a cause for many a disease. Each day when I was consuming food I had an inherent fear of having a negative effect of the chemicals on my health. May be the pesticides being sprayed or mixed in the soil to assist plants to resist attacks from pests might have burgeoned the fear in me. Of course I am a staunch atheist from a young age and against all forms of superstitions et al today, post listening to your articulation of truth, I felt so ashamed of myself for my wrong possession of a superstition of another type. Thank you gentleman for your dissemination of knowledge enunciated in a layman's vernacular.
