I love the cartoon graphics, they make the game feel fresh! I probably wouldn't want this for *every* game, but seeing some games like this mixed in once in a while will be a breath of fresh air!
I love the way Scan timed his attack to coincide with the upgrade on his marines at the end. Even with a game like that, he was still waiting for the ideal moment to go.
The Carbot mod is a nice change of pace! I absolutely would love to have this spruced into the mix for a rotation of maybe one week per month? What a spectacular game as always!
@@HashbeanSC2 are you talking about the points in the map where things don't seem to fit, like at the reverse ramp? You do know that those are tiles that are also janky in the normal version when used like this, right?

Really love the Carbot skin! One thing I really liked is the visual indicator that marines are hitting stuff is very clearly visible like at 10:08 it's so easy to tell for a spectator that Scan is focusing down the sunks for example, really made it a lot easier to pick out what's going on as someone who watches BW for entertainment.
I don't LOVE the Carbot skin, but there are things I love about it. This skin illustrates map features like high ground and ramps SO much better than normal, it can be hard to tell in original. While I don't love it now, I think it would grow on me more and more and I'd get more accustomed to it over time. I vote for more casts (even all of them) in carbot.
I appreciate your experimentation, and your sponsored series have been awesome! For something mixed in, the graphics are fun and different! The game and your cast quality are right up to speed.

No. Check out their streams on Afreeca/Twitch and you'll see virtually all pros play on regular graphics with the HD upgrade. Some of them stuck to the original graphics but most upgraded to HD.
I love the carbot skins! Please do series like this once in a while. I'd say doing 80% games on normal graphics and 20% on the carbot skin would be a good split so the carbot skin is still a special treat and so it doesn't wear out it's welcome.

i like it, the carbot mod looks cleaner than standard. this would have been funny too when you were doing the maps from the early days of SC.

I enjoy how bright the graphics are, it's less straining on the eyes. Though they took a bit of creative liberties with the art design.
I was expecting a Falcon Paladin intro but ws surprised this was an artosis cast. Nice one Arty. 😁
I actually like the carbots skin because it's easier to spot enemies; its much harder to camouflage or hide units since everything is simplified down

This skin makes things clearer for me, for example how many times the SCV hit the drone, etc

Have you guys ever thought about how Carbot had to redraw EVERY frame of EVERY unit/structure/terrain in the game? That shit is crazy.
I love seeing the Carbots version thrown in here and there. I prefer normal for most matches but definitely freshens things up.
