They need to bring this game back, my god, I remember playing this as a kid with a friend of mine & we both got interested in music & software in high school.
for real!! played this in elementary school and it sparked my interest in dj’ing/producing in general..sure enough in high school i was producing and recording music.

ik im late, but games that gets u immersed such as some rhythm shooters racing games and some sport games, really made me appreciate gaming even more.

It's great to see this again. I mixed this track and made the notetrack/gameplay. It was a great project to work on. We were all very proud of it.

@@AnonymousNotSoOfficial Hah. I know what you mean. Yeah, it was genuinely me. I still live in Leamington Spa where FreeStyleGames used to be. Myself and a programmer left in 2013 to start our own indie studio to carry on making music games. Still have a lot of love for DJ Hero.

Again. The gogo dancers killing it! They kick to the gunshots and its slow mo-FLASH, anyone notice?!
It's a script. They made generic animations for dancers, they animated it to the beat, and they made a program that reads a file attached to the track, that contains every cues from every models and lights. Like when the DJ lifts their arms, or when the dancer winks at the camera, like in 1:18
The exciting part, is that the DJH community is really close to be able to reverse engineering that program, so we'll be able to do both custom tracks and custom animations. Very eager to see the results.
