The undervaluation and closed minds of many did not prevent us from having another game like Megaman 7, a masterpiece in all aspects.
Folks did you catch that in all the soundtrack the main rhythm guiding instrument is... the Bass? ;) Masterpiece!

I really like how the musical motifs in Wily stage 4 have a sense of finality in them. RM7/MM7's OST is very underrated.
Wily stage 1 kind of hooked me in :). I like the bass guitar in there

This soundtrack is very pleasing to listen to. Truly the SNES at one of its peaks.
I never noticed how beautiful the track, "prologue - 6 months later" actually sounds. It'd be nice if it had a more memorable title, but the point stands - the way it weaves happy major chords with solemn minors is quite lovely and was quite completely unnecessary for something that most people would probably skip lol
It also still hits me to this day how amazingly paced to the level design Wily 1's theme is
I didn't appreciate 7 as much as I do now. But the OST always lingered in my playlists
I've always loved how "thick" this soundtrack sounds, barely even sounds like a SNES game sometimes and that's a good thing
As a composer who sometimes writes 16 bit pieces, what they did here is damn impressive.

Not only on Mega Man 7. If not, listen to the Demons Crest or Breath of Fire 2 OST's you will not be disappointed. :)

I've played every Classic Series game, from 1 through 11, and this one is still my favorite.
With that said, every single game in this series has something unique about it, and you're guaranteed to have a good time with any of them. :)

Freeze man omg that music, you really feel the icy effect as if sound reverberated against ice.
Best possible order to defeat the Robot Masters in MM7:
1. Burst Man
2. Cloud Man
3. Junk Man
4. Freeze Man
5. Slash Man
6. Spring Man
7. Shade Man
8. Turbo Man
Only problem is that you'll have to revisit Junk Man's stage for the rush letter with Freeze Man's weapon, in a 100% run of course.
I don't really mind at all, since that just adds to the replayability of the game. ;)
i thinks Cloud man is the easiest robot master of the game, because it has repetitive pattern of attacks, but Burst Man It is not difficult, it is only very annoying with the bubbles that he throw.
i usually start with turbo man instead of slash man turbo man is easy with mega buster too

To have been a game that was made in 3 months it is simply one of the best games of megaman, now imagine if they had more time to work, it would have been much better!

The Robot Museum theme is a remix of Guts Man, Heat Man and Snake Man themes.
shade man stage and soundtrack gave me a castlevania feel I LOVED IT plus is the only stage with a secret theme
At first I didn't think much of this soundtrack, but after listening to it on its own I've come to consider it a step up from both 5 and 6. My personal favorites would have to be: intro stage, Robot Museum, Slash Man, Spring Man, both Shade Man themes, Wily 1 and the ending theme.
Turbo Man theme is so wonderful. Such a automobilistic vibe!

one of my favorite Megaman games ever. It combined the action & charm of the NES games with some item-collecting adventure elements. Great game... until you fight the Wily Capsule. Arg!!
Wily Capsule 7 is the reason i rarely play Megaman 7 anymore.
@@redmage8719 I beat it first try using 4 E-Tanks, 1 W-Tank, and 1 S-Tank.
Oh c'mon, best Wily capsule ever, it is just so much fun to dodge those bullets. It is a very learnable fight.

This is a solid and memorable soundtrack from a classic game. Megaman 7 holds a lot of nostalgic memories for me.
This one is the best ost from Megaman "classic". CloudMan, JunkMan, Shade Man, the museum, the first stage, eveything!

One weekend my dad beat all of the Megaman games on the NES and SNES and me and my little brother watched. It was really awesome, and he was really good. I always loved the songs, but these are probably my favorite. Amazing ost!

been hearing that MM7 is an underrated game... to be honest I didn't play the NES games, so I can't compare, but the OST reflects on Megaman's resolve to defeat Dr. Wily for good, after the dark turn that the intro shown us... Megaman's resolve to end everything by deviating on what a robot absolutely shouldn't do.
That's neat. Robot Museum mashed up some of the old Robot Master themes.
