Seeing that you posted a new video always makes my day! Love the kitchen cafe curtains you made, and the way you shelf-styled the crock & the little jar with the baby’s breath!!!
Unnecessary clutter in the home describes my current state perfectly😳It has risen to the state of frustration so I had to pause on thrifting. I still love to see the things you find. It always comes with some inspiration 😉
What a haul! The hamper, the tray, and that fluted vase! Everything is so nice! I've said it before, your thrift stores are WAY better than anything I've run across here in Austin, Tx!
I agree with the comment about high priced stores that you can find comparable items 😊in for next to nothing. Just found cafe curtains for $5.00 suitable for fall and winter.
I have a lot of Longaberger baskets. I’m originally from Ohio. And have been to the Basket office building. And went where the baskets were made. I could have made one. But I deceived not to. It was a fun trip. I lived probably an hour from where they were made. I love all the things you found. I moved to North Georgia five years ago. And we just haven’t found any good thrift stores near us. We had some favorites back in Ohio we went to all the time. I wish we could find one down here. My husband likes to thrift too. I loved the curtains you made from the table runner. And the figs in the Longaberger basket did look real. They were neat.
I know Longaberger baskets are so desirable among collectors! How neat that you can make one at the headquarters. I've been to that thrift store again since the video and the rest of the baskets are gone, which is not surprising. Someone was probably thrilled! 😊
@@TashaatHome You’re not alone 💕 Glad you’re taking time for yourself and doing what you can manage and hope that you’re feeling more like yourself again soon 💕 (even if you maintain the every other Tuesday schedule)
You find the best stuff....better thrift stores in NC than Florida. You styled everything beautifully as usual....and LOVE the cafe curtains!..and baby's breath is my absolute fav little flower and dried ones are everywhere in my house where my cats won't be able to try and eat it. I have the faux ones from you from hobby lobby in white and cream on my dining table in a old antique sugar mold.
Thank you so much; you're too kind! The curtains are my favorite part. I'm still staring at them! I just love the delicacy of babies breath but also how it looks full and fluffy because there are so many flowers together.
Great buying. I would have bought the sage cushions myself and cut off the dangles. Shame the crock wasn’t big enough for the plant but it looks great with the flowers in it.
Hi for the life of me cannot figure out why everyone looks at pottery barn. They are ripping people off. Curtains, café style for $79? It just blows my mind that people pay that much for that stuff. It’s ridiculous. Look around. Create your own sense of style purchase what you love will catch your eye and stop worrying about what pottery barn thinks is great for the price they want to rip people off with.
I agree! I like things that are different, unique and I don’t care if it cost a dollar if I like it I’m buying it! I don’t shop at malls, or pay ridiculous prices for anything. Simplicity is Better in all aspects of life!
Those crooks were so pretty you should have purchased them and switched them out every few months as you change your kitchen decor. Curtains are lovely😃
Hey Tasha 👋 I hope you are feeling a bit better ! I too, have been looking for the perfect fabric for cafe curtains im having trouble either they are too busy or too plain the search continues 😅 I ❤ babys breath too.
Hello Tasha, I live in Chapel Hill but new to the area. Wondering where the good thrift stores in the area are??? Where is the Goodwill outlet bin store? The goodwill I've been to is not the outlet one. I love your videos and you go to some great thrift stores but don't always mention which ones you went to. Please let me know if you have time. Thank you so much. Amitha
I go to several regularly but have gone to many, many in the wider area. I can't really say which are "best"--it sooo just depends on the luck of the day. I often go to the Goodwills in north Durham and north Raleigh, Trosa in north Durham, and both Durham Rescue Missions in Durham as well :) There is no Goodwill outlet store in the triangle, but there is one in Greensboro. When I mention the "bins" I am usually referring to the tables with linens etc inside the regular Goodwills.
Why do they use permanent marker on the baskets? Seems a tie tag would work and not damage the item. I am thinking in terms of gift giving (wine basket).
Here are all three of my downstairs rugs! (I think you mean the first one) ++Loloi Olive/Charcoal Rug (living room): amzn.to/3tium8H ++Loloi Antique/Moss rug: (family room) amzn.to/474sjmE ++Loloi Sage/Bark rug (dining room): amzn.to/3H00fGt
We go to several in Durham and several in North Raleigh including the Goodwill off six forks road 😊 But we have been all over--there are plenty in the area
The striped cafe curtains are the bomb. So simple, so easy, so elegant. All of your ideas are great.
Oh thanks very much! I'm still loving the curtain choice for sure 😊
Seeing that you posted a new video always makes my day! Love the kitchen cafe curtains you made, and the way you shelf-styled the crock & the little jar with the baby’s breath!!!

The figs look so realistic!
Great things! The cafe curtains are just right and the crock and hamper basket are my favorites!!
Thank you! I love the curtains and keep staring at them 😋
I love making curtains out of different things. Your decor is beautiful. Take care.
Another great video filled with treasures! My son and I love North Raleigh Ministries Thrift Shoppe!
I love how you style items together and give different ways because I'm challenged!
Those figs are everything! Love them. So glad you picked them up
I thought they were pretty realistic too!

Enjoy your new kitchen! It is beautiful!
You can never go wrong with quality wicker/baskets and ceramics, great video!
Agree 💯!
Tasha, you have such an unfussy, charming ability. Warm and welcoming without tons of clutter!
I really appreciate that you called it unfussy. That's a compliment for sure 😃
Love the wicker hamper and the runner you made into curtains ❤
Thank you! 😊
Could take the tassels off of those green pillows🤩
I love crocks and baskets and you got a couple of good ones. Love how you styled them, too. Perfect look.
Thank you!!
Love your kitchen curtains ❤actually, I love everything 😂

My favorite was the basket of faux figs and that big wicker tray!
I always look forward to your videos. I wish my thrift stores were as delightful as yours.

A few of our local thrift stores have year-round Christmas rooms.
Those figs look crazy real! Love your finds. 😍👌☺️
I have been waiting to come across a hamper like that! Great score!!

That tray basket is so cute!!!

Love your new hamper and such a great propice! 😊
I think so too!
I left all your finds. I really loved that tray. You could tell it was good quality and not to mention that hamper.
Yes, both really nice quality--you can't beat them! I love it :)

Enjoyed it all as usual
Sooooo goooood!!!!
I love all your finds so much wow you really scored
Great finds! And wonderful inspiration 😇
Thanks so much! 😊
Great job on the curtains!
Thank you! Cheers!
Yes they are putting out Christmas stuff, but it is very pricey here in southern Tennessee.
I was so nervous when lit the 3 wick beneath dried flowers. 😳
But you found beautiful things. Now I want a basket or two.
Same here. I got anxiety watching that candle. But that vase is awesome.
I can see that! If it makes you feel better it wasn't as close as it appeared from the camera angle ☺️
First time watching enjoyed your curtain make 😊

I love to compare my thrift pricing to PB because it makes me feel even better about paying so much less 😊

@@TashaatHomeNew subscriber! Thank you for your content! I love thrifting!
@@jenramirez5329 Welcome!! 😊
It is shocking to see what they charge for simple items, ($99 for a little basket tray)!
U could take sanding paper and lightly sand the writing off!😊

Great finds!
Love ur videos I love the hamper and the tray u got ❤

I ❤ babys breath too.
Thank you! Yes I had the same problem--didn't want a solid, and thought probably pinstripes but hated all the stripes on Amazon :)-
Nice Longaberger basket. 😊
I do l8ke baby breath, too. Going to check it out. Thanks!
It is a pleasure to meet you; new subscriber. Enjoyed seeing your haul.
Welcome!! 🤗 So glad to have you!
SUCH good finds! Our Florida thrift stores are not as well stocked! lol
I’m envious!
To take off the black marker, you just need to go over it with another sharply, and wipe it off 😅
I believe the hamper came from pottery barn with an off-white liner.
Here to support my local influencer ❤
🤗❤️ thank you!!
Why the heck are the marking stuff in perm marker?
I assume they have problems with people removing stickers otherwise 🤷🏼♀️
Very nice❤
Thanks 🤗
Can you take the plant out of the black pot?
Unfortunately not, it's all manufactured together. 🤷🏼♀️ The right pot will come along soon 😁

Oh I know...so annoying!
Please don’t put that little candle that close to the dried arrangement 😮. However you are an awesome decorator! ❤❤

@@TashaatHome yes! Thank you 😊
The wire artwork would work well in a teenage boys room.
Oh, true!
I love near Raleigh which thrift stores do you go to?
We go to several in Durham and several in North Raleigh including the Goodwill off six forks road 😊 But we have been all over--there are plenty in the area
I wouldn't put a lit candle right next to dried florals
How do you get the black marker price off the baskets?
Wiping it with a Magic Eraser usually gets it 😊
Which store? I want to go!
I go to several regularly! Goodwills in north Durham and north Raleigh, Trosa in north durham, and both Durham Rescue Missions in Durham as well :)
I don’t understand why the thrift store writes the prices in permanent marker… such a shame!
I don’t know why thrift stores write on the product, they should use stickers
Where in north Raleigh is this store located
I believe the store referenced is the one off 70 in Briar Creek 😊
May I ask what your cat's name is? My tortie's name is ZuZu, from It's a Wonderful Life."
His name is Curry! I love the name ZuZu, so cute 🥰
I just don't understand why some thrift stores think its okay to write prices right on the items with permanent marker??? Sad
I've grown so used to it because they do it in our area, but it is really weird if you think about it!
Our thrift stores just carry out-dated junk.
:(
"Christmas in July"
I guess so!
I thought those were real figs

Please don't light a candle so close to your dried flowers.
Apparently I have been scaring everyone with that 😂 I promise it looked closer from that angle than it actually was!
