You are teaching false doctrine by seeking to deny the book of Acts as a template for Christian baptism. Scripture declares that the things that were written aforetime were written for our learning. Scripture also declares that all scripture is given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness. The book of the Acts of the apostles highlights for us a template on ministry, as Jesus prayed, not only for His apostles but for all those who would believe on Him "through their word". You seem to be bringing seminary misinformation to the fore and propagating and teaching against biblical doctrines which are the first principles of the doctrine of Christ, as scripture declares.

Friend that is a very serious charge that should not be made lightly. I can’t imagine where you would get that I said Acts wasn’t scripture with all that entails.
The video on baptism was part of a series of videos on topics where I tried to present definitions and roughly outline major views. So I am presenting views that are not necessarily my own.
Now perhaps what you are misunderstanding from me or perhaps what I did not make very clear is this. Biblical interpretation or hermeneutics requires us to look at the whole counsel of the Word of God (66 books) when considering a question like this. When you consider questions you want to start with those passages that speak clearly on something and use those to help you better understand the passages that speak less clearly. In general the Epistles do a great job at showing us the meaning of and theology behind the history that we read in the Gospels and book of Acts and in deed in many parts of the OT to which they speak. If we only had the book of Acts then I would say, we would endeavor to only understand and practice baptism based on that. But we don’t. We have Romans which you quote and 1Corthinians and Ephesians so on.
Do you live communally with your church sharing all of your resources in common? Why not? That is the “template” in the book of Acts. Do you only meet in houses? Sell your property and possessions and give them to the church? Do you try and share the gospel at your local synagogues before turning to the gentiles? All of these are templates.
You are free to disagree with me but please don’t call me a false teacher while falsely accusing me of something I didn’t do. 🙏🙌🏻-Jim
