Sounds like the desert level
Ziggy HunkSpunk seth everman reference?
I imagine sort of a... "Dream Dimension Desert". A desert with a clear vision of a blue sky with some thin coulds, no blinding bright hot sun or even no sun at all, and you can see a forest in the horizon, and at were seems to be the _middle of it_ -- though I don't think we'd be able to notice this _detail_ from such a distance -- a *HUGE* portal high up in the air from which comes a *LOT* of water, creating a sort of gigantic waterfall large not only in height but also in wideness.
Edit: oh, and at around 2:04 , a sneaky snake comes out of the sand and _licks_ your feet or whatever your wearing on them, hums The LICC "Dun dundunde dun, duduown" and goes back into the sand.
Sall great comment
I love the fact that Adam tracked several musicians performing in different places and mixed them all in one track, that was rad! Love the entire piece, awesome work !
and did it all in 15 minutes!
You guys should check out addictive TV then because they do the same kinda thing but worldwide
YOUR WRIST
ChaosPotato Well, it's kind of unavoidable for the wrist to bend like that in certain positions while playing bass. The aim is to minimise such situations.
ChaosPotato some wrists have more forward mobility as well. Some people can put their wrists on their forearm.
OH SUCH CRUEL IRONY
PROTIP: Make sure that the Bass and the Cool Japanese Flute Thing are in the SAME KEY!
HenryRichard lol
it's a joke, a reference to an old video
and the flute thing is called a 尺八
Yeah it’s a reference to one of Adam’s old videos. I’m pretty sure they actually are always in the same key.
I love the fact that you could've played any instrument in thomann and stuck to a trusty black jazz bass...
Not just any black jazz bass. A Geddy lee Japan signature bass. One of the better jazz Basses you can buy
Beautiful!
It sounded like he started the lick at the end
Yes he got the whole lick in at the end
2:04
Absolutely beautiful and hypnotizing. Very cool song, Adam!
The main minor motif with those congas and wind instrument sounds amazing, very mystical
This is so awesome!
Always nice to randomly come across fellow shakuhachi players.
Well done all. You and Sarah need to do more :)
Amazing!
Really loved the lick riiiiight at the end of the vid!!!
...and this is why I subbed to your second channel. That was amazing

You mean at 2:04 ?
Tun dundunde dun, tundun.
You should make an album.
Raimundo Riquelme I would kill for more music like this pls!!
Have you checked out Sungazer?
Damn, that was good. You've got some amazing musical chemistry going on there!
Sounds like an incubus instrumental from the morning view sessions
so mellow
Shakuhachi bro is the real mvp
Coolness
Thank you all for that...
Ausome music
Damn good job mixing all that
Love the Shakhuachi!
love the ending!
If it was me mixing this (and it's not) I would have maybe tried a de-esser on the shakhuachi or if that didn't immediately work I would probably use a multiband compressor on some frequencies I find a bit sibilant, but that I wouldn't want to EQ out altogether because I think they're important to the timbre of the instrument.
Yo you guys actually wrote a Blood Orange song lol, and it's very nice
Did you and Sarah write the parts for everyone else or were they improvising?
I feel like you guys went to this convention or whatever together and now you're friends.
Did you guys go to this convention together and then become friends?! :D
Sweetest Taboo
1:39 FLUTE ANGLE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Beautiful
You & Sarah, Now, Album Due...Tentatively....w/Confidence.
So pretty.
Ever hear of KUTIMAN?
He does really cool stuff like taking bits of music from people all over the web and composing it into one single song, sort of like what you did here
It's like collaborating with strangers
By the way, I really like this Sarah
❤ quite beautiful indeed ❤
so lush my son
This song reminds me of the bar music from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl.
I think it would be nice if you uploaded all of your intros as separate videos on this channel (Adam Neely's Bass Lessons, How to Not Suck at Music, Question and Answer Time and New Horizons in Music).
It sounds very Andreas Vollenweider.
UR MUSIC GAYYY

You aren't?
NICE MUSIC.... but NEVER forget that the BAND UNIT is more powerful than any MUSIC.
(EX: there's a romanticism in Rock Bands -- Beatles, Zeppelin, Sabbath... etc -- as if they're four MATES who are a special TEAM and special UNIT --- which no other musician / composer can touch, no matter what. We LOVE the idea of 3 or 5 guys as a TEAM AGAINST THE WORLD.)
(My point is, as great as ppl can make music, the UNIT -- and the trappings of that unit (looks, names, etc) -- are THE top ingredient. We want to think of Pink Floyd as 4 GOOD FRIENDS in harmony. If ONE of them looked like a marine, it wouldn't have worked.) (We want to see SYMBIOSIS.)
