Thanks for using DIY Detail products.
You’re welcome
LOL, you got it on video!
Man, you better get the body outline chalk cause that looked like a crime scene when the 460 hit the floor. Impressive it could still function.
It did didn’t it? That area where the screw is with all the cracks is why any impact and the crew just pops out.
Another great Keav review
Thank You
lol, plug it in and pray it's charging
🤣
Every single time. LOL
Another great video.
Thank You
Great review Keav. I would have loved a battery operated sprayer but not sure i like the performance. Guess will stick to my pump IK Sprayer for now
It’s comparable to an IK until you get to the thicker liquids and also not as much capacity. IK is coming out with a battery unit lasted this year though. Can’t wait for that one!
@@CarsWithKeav Oh yes i am aware of that one, should be great from IK
“Oh no. Oh no”
I cannot believe it still survived 😮
Lucky the area around that screw was already cracked so it just broke sort easily.
I see what you did here. Low key C6 torture test under the guise of a sprayer test 😁 Great video as always!
It was torture too. I didn’t water down my grass enough and some of it browned up from the chemicals. 🤣
@@CarsWithKeav Well...at least you have some spray nozzles to use with fertilizer 😅
@@Turbo6Detail Got lots of spray tip replacements now.
Another great video. Do you think we'd be okay not cleaning the sprayer head every time if it's just used with rinse-less wash? Not sure if I'll remember to clean it every time.
Rinseless wash you should be fine doing that.
After this video I now know the foam cannon drop test was not just for entertainment. Its a true use case for you.😂 I want some of those Solo sprayers so bad, but I just can't justify the costs.
There are 460’s still out there for $35 just not many left. Many tell me all the time I’m wasting my time drop testing. I got the bloopers to prove it happens. Maybe not from shoulder height, but my shelves are that high. 🤣
Not me flabbergasted because I had NO idea I could screw my solo sprayer head on a 16 oz bottle!!! I’m trying it as soon as I get home!!! Also-where did you get that big boars hair brush?!??
It will be like a whole new product again to discover! Picked up the boars hair brush at a detail shop not sure of the brand it was just the brush I used a broke pool cleaner pole and used that as the handle. Adam’s and a few others sale real hair brushes I wouldn’t buy the fake stuff on Amazon. You have to be very careful though it is very easy to scratch with these. Technique has to be on point with two bucket method and a grit guard to scrub the bristles hood. It’s best to soak the bristles for a few minutes before using to soften them up as well. I use mainly for hard to reach roofs not on the other panels. I used it on this hood to simulate a swirl mark session I was using a lot of pressure. Have to put those coatings to the real test. Even being careful very soft paint can still scratch with these.
I have the the 2 liter Detail POPO sprayer. Got it from Carzilla. It’s quality, no issues spraying my rinseless Wash. Paid $36 bucks 👍
Yes, those are around and work pretty good. There are tons of rebranded ones all over the internet and Amazon. I have one just never reviewed it. Had it for like a year just sitting on the shelf. Mainly for me with chemical sprayers I liked the solo so much being able to swap around bottles easily.
I still have a good hand nozzle for my wheel cleaners but have considered the solo as an option after seeing your review videos.
Couldn't believe the 260 stopped spraying and when the 460 fell right after and shattered my jaw dropped. I'm so glad it still works and at least now you have a charging cable for it. Expensive charging cable though. Lol
I did purchase the rechargeable foamer found a seller for under 30 that was shipped via prime but the price fluctuate so much you have to catch it at the right time. Last i checked it was a dollar less than when I bought it. Lol
Still have to test it out but I got it based on your videos and have no doubt it will work well.
Thanks for the great content as always.
Great, that foamer is in such high demand they can’t get it in inventory so it has such long delivery times. It was available two day delivery for a just a day or so then sold out. A few months they will be in stock and everywhere with 100 different listings. I ended up buying 5 more 460’s to get a good stockpile since they are no longer made. Found them for $35. Plus I’ll have extra charging cable. 🤣
I finally tested the foamer and it works great, which I had no doubt after your review. But I don't have the same soap though I may use your code and get some.
I like that you can leave the spray on with the trigger to clean it out as well. I like the charging indicator light. I don't see myself using the other nozzle but would be cool if that worked well too.
I just noticed it is now reduced in price and will get here in 2 days and only a few left. I'm going to get another for cleaning inside my home, I can see a time savings for the bathroom alone.
Thanks again for the great reviews.
@@TRINInDC925 Nice, they are constantly going in and out of stock. I might have to get another one.
What would you choose for an apc on car exterior, one of these battery sprayers or the ryobi ez clean?
I like the solo sprayers simply for ease of use. The EZ clean just takes a longer time to setup since I use it for so many things it’s never in a ready state for what I need at the time. 🤣
I have a 260 in 2:1 shine Supply Wise Guy and I never clean it out and it's lasted since OG started selling them. I can't believe yours failed this test.
I don't think it has an issue with high Alkaline products I think it was the acidic Bug & Tar remover that has lots of solvents that did it in. Something like Wise Guys should do well.
So Keav....heard anything at all from BIGBOI interms of their "pro" washer it's inconceivable charging 600- 700 dollars from a company that did not check their washer possibly would incur amperage issues in USA as opposed to Europe.
Now we all just wait and wait for BIGBOI to establish a troubleshooting platform.
They say they are close and the 2nd shipment is still being held till a proper fix is complete. They are testing the fix and cross your fingers we should know soon. It’s a low voltage issue with the 4 pole motor if voltage is low the motor pulls more amps to get going. Fix they need is to allow the machine to operate and start at a lower voltage.
Dropped it !
It was involuntary too. Must be second nature now.
I was debating on whether or not to get the cheap battery foamer that you reviewed a while ago. The product and the sellers either have bad reviews or the zero reviews, and they are all coming from China with long delivery time. Now here comes the battery sprayer with no foam. Solo has way better reviews and they are US sellers which means faster shipping. Now the question is do we really need the foam on the wheels?
The China sellers will eventually have inventory in the US and will have quick delivery times. They did at one point, but the demand is exceeding their ability to keep stock in Amazon warehouses so they have long delivery times. Early reviews I don’t take much value in. I actually don’t look at reviews that often as I have a lot of products I love that have bad reviews because people don’t know how to use them. Like DI resin people blame the resin for them not knowing their water is bad quality. When it comes to foam its not really ever needed it’s just nice to have especially for wheels and tires to see where you last sprayed or brushed. Foam is more lubricitive most of the time as well.
Have you ever reviewed a 160 PSI 12V portable pressure powerful washing kit as found on the A site? You can power the pump with a cigarette lighter plug or get an AC/DC adapter. I'm looking for a solution to rinse my car off using a bucket of zero water. I need to find something that has enough volume to rinse well and also prefer something that isn't too loud. I've looked at the cordless gun style pressure washers (looks kind of like a drill) but they almost seem like they put out the volume of a squirt gun.
I have not tried any of the Amazon ones yet, but the Ryobi EZ clean I have and use all the time. I love it. Here is a video I did on it and price has dropped you can get battery and sprayer for less than $200. ua-cam.com/video/Vot1miL9aes/v-deo.htmlsi=EcXqC8X49J3vcByS
I was really rooting for the cheaper sprayers in this one. To bad.
Me too, but I knew they wouldn’t hold up to these chemicals. Rinseless wash they would do fine I bet.
I have a shelf full of 260’s, now I’m wondering if I should have ordered 460’s. Doesn’t make sense that it should stop working right?
Maybe mine just is one of those bad ones you get when manufacturing. Usually I get lucky and have the durable long lasting ones and I see comments saying theirs broke first time or never worked. Let’s just say I found a place that has the 460 for $35 so I bought 5 to meet their free shipping. Waiting for them to arrive to see if they are 460 or they sent the newer 260.
Ha ha I think I just found the same place. I just ordered 20. They called me to verify that I actually meant to order 20. So maybe you’ll see some 260s on the secondhand detailing site soon
@@Clean_Cut_Detail My 5 just arrived today!
Were they the 460s or 260s?
