👍🏿 I have two of these Radical guns now(got one for my dad also) they have been absolutely great.a great gun to start with and add to as you have money and learn what you like as a setup.
I also bought my Radical AR15 from Kentucky Gun Company for $399!!! Next to my KS7 it's the best for the price! No issues at all and it's very accurate. I upgraded the trigger and a few lefty accessories and it's amazing!!!
I have a RF-15 AR pistol with a 10.5" barrel in 7.62x39mm. When I bought it, I set it aside for a while before I got around to range testing and zeroing it. It turned out to be a one shot wonder. It wasn't a gassing problem which most people said to check first for. Since I didn't want to send it back to the factory and be out of a truck gun (even though I have another AR pistol, it is only a 9mm) I fixed it myself. It was an out of spec trigger mechanism that somehow got past quality control. I had a spare mil-spec trigger group that solved everything. This is the pistol that is part of my EDC and I am very happy with it. I have a Sig MSR red dot as well as a set of Troy BUIS on it. That brought the cost of the AR pistol up to about $600. Most of my collection of AR's were built with a smaller budget in mind. You don't have to spend $1,500 to get into the AR scene. Just go with Radical Firearms, BCA and PSA to name a few budget minded manufacturers and watch for the sales.
I'm new to the AR scene and just got my first one a couple months back after 8 or 9 months of learning as much as I could through UA-cam. I went with an 18" barreled PSA upper in 6.8 SPC on an Aero Precision lower, both bought on sale at nice discounts. I couldn't be happier with it after the first couple hundred rounds, under MOA with every ammo I've put through it so far and for well under $1000. You are correct, excellent results can be had without shelling out $1500+.
My Radical Arms RF 15 chambered in 556 is basically doing this. Everyone is saying it’s a gas issue as its acting like a bolt action but I don’t believe so because it ejects and feeds fine. Guess I’ll be getting a new trigger
I got the radical rf15 soccom fcf around a year ago and have over 2500 rounds through it without 1 issue and with decent ammo it shoots 1 moa. Mine has different furniture and handguard than this one. I upgraded the trigger with the PSA 3.5lb match trigger and I'm pleased
I think my first purchase of the AR-15 will be the Radical RF-15 Socom .556/.223 Remington for 450 dollars. These are really nice rifles for a solid price. I like your rifle,you did a good job fitting it to your profile of shooting. I will definitely get a scope for mine,along with a flip up front site. I bought a .50 Beowulf upper from Radical several years ago and it runs great! I shoot 325 grain hollow points in it and God help whatever gets hit by that .50 caliber bullet. Loads of fun, kicks like a shotgun with 00 buck.
Liking the rifle setup especially the price you got a smoking deal the only upgrade needed imo is the truglo red dot in a real self defense situation i wouldn't trust it without back up sights, red dot goes out you're screwed ...and they do go out from time to time.😮
I couldn’t agree with you more I own three different 556 models they have been flawless and absolutely perfect. However, I also just purchased a 6.5 Grendel and I have been having problems with that. I’ve been in contact with Radical to no avail I am tempted to just take it to my gunsmith for him to tell me, what is really going on that all aside the 556s have been absolutely amazing
You can get a castle nut mount for a one point sling that works great and will fit on most any rifle with a buffer tube and Collapsible stock. Very easy installation not very expensive.
Absolutely love my radical 16" 556 socom upper. Has a kingslayer green circle dot reticle and backup irons. Mounted on my tactical machining lower built by me with thordsen ca featureless stock. All kinds of goodies on it. Its my only ar rifle and i do not feel like I need ten more in different setups. Maybe one day a different optic and magnifier but I love my irons tbh. I have the red dot for cqb basically. Has a 32moa ring a 2moa dot with hash marks on the ring. Really cool setup man. Very mucho fan of thisbone.
Thank for keeping it real for the average gun owner. I see way tk many tactards on the internet who say you gotta spend 1,500-2,000 on a rifle or you can’t protect yourself it’s nonsense. This will work just fine for the average person
Only issue I have with my radical AR is the gas block leaks. Need to take it to a gunsmith to correct the issue. Other then that I've had no issues with my radical AR
I love Radical. They are dirt cheap. They are hit and miss. I have several. No issues outside one shooting steel at first. After that zero issues. I know people who know rifles inside and out that have had a ton of issues. The company is great to deal with customer service wise from what I have been told by those guys. I have more expensive rifles as well but I enjoy my RF’s. If you want to shoot more I suggest getting a Cmmg 22 conversion. Nice rifle
I’ve got a radical firearms rf15 ar15 I’ve had it for almost a year or more now put a few hundred rounds through it and its going strong still. so pretty good quality 😁👌🏼
AR15 rifles are in an abundance and you can some really good sales as you found out. My buddy has a gun store and his COST IS $425.00. I am guessing some one had buyers remorse and traded or pawned it without ever shooting it.
i have the exact same rifle minus your add ons of course i have magpul mbus pro irons a magpul rubberized grip a angled forgrip rail covers and a romeo 5 red dot oh and also a radian raptor charging handle but yeah man you have awesome setup

I wish i would have got mine from the place you did mine was 500 but i guess 550 after tax put a rise armament trigger on mine it runs great. I put a holosun 510c on it i got for a steal from a local shop where i live for $245.

I have a 16" and 10.5" both sitting at 3k rounds a piece now... not one malfunction other than some shit Tula steel case sticking in the chamber a couple times. These things are tac drivers. The BCGs in both almost still look new. Very minimal wear.
There are situations where you might not put irons on a fighting rifle. Example- You have a primary optic and an offset red dot, and can't fit a rear BUIS on top of the receiver. The offset red dot is your backup sighting system in that situation.
@@hartsickdiscipleMaybe I'm paranoid, but I always have a pair of backup irons as even with an LVPO, you can have 45 degree iron sight offsets. Murphy's Law where both batteries die at the same time, EMP?
What size cartridge? Mine is 16" no marking can be found not is sure what spiral it is. It came with 7.62x39 I'm not using it until I find the markings
Git a rf upper and a palmetto lower, shoots really well, using a PSA bcg, accurate as my other ones, needs a lpvo, just got a red dot on it: upper-199, 159 lower, 140 bcg, 15 mag, 32 charging
Does anyone know if the IWI Zion 15 is worth the extra money over this? This rifle is my 2nd choice but I hear way too many people say the Zion is truly as good as 2000 dollar AR15's. Zion = $829, this is $450 at most places. So is the Zion twice as good as this? I am only planning on buying ONE AR15 so I want to make the right choice. Thanks
Israeli IWI rifles are great guns if you have the money they sell for , a Radical firearm is still a top quality firearm for a third of the price...I have been to Radical's armory as it is only 15 miles from my house and they manufacture most of their products in house..I've never had any problems with the staff there ( mostly vets ) and they have always been super friendly and gave me great service..

You can sign up at grabagun for their notifications when they're back in stock and as long as you're quick, you can get the IWI Zion for $829, so, a bit less than double the price for the Radical. grabagun's local to me so, I can also avoid the FFL fee by driving down there. I'm just not sure if IWI is worth double the price of the Radical or if the difference is so negligible that I may as well get the Radical

I have a RF they suck. Inccurate af get your self a BCM 50,000 round riffle 1 moa grouping at about 200 yard's. Or a DD sub moa at 200 yards. Buy once cry once.
If it is not accurate, it can be repaired under warranty!!!!! They will make it right, you need to call them. They don't you are unhappy unless you talk to them. They offer excellent customer service. I know because I had an issue and was cared for personally. They have me as a loyal customer.

Bought my Radical over a year ago with Sig Romeo 5. Several thousands of rounds fired, absolutely zero issues.

My Radical RPR shoots as well as my Springfield Saint..Radical firearms are good dependable firearms..lifetime warranty...
Different experience for me and one friend that bought Radical uppers. Both had problems and both are gone now. I will not be buying another.

Iron sights are always necessary. You can get a good set for $50 so should be no reason to leave them off.

As long that it shoots bullets through it I'm fine with it don't need sight or lens. nice video though
