    love all of your recipes! I still live at home so eating healthy in a large family is very hard but once I get married in June I will for sure try a lot of these recipes out for my husband and I!

    I love bliss balls :) I sometimes roll them in dairy free melted chocolate and freeze them for about an hour... the most heavenly dessert ever!

    I make something quite similar, but I add maca powder for an energy boost, and I definitely feel like it makes a difference! When I'm in the mood, I'll add peppermint extract and the flavor is so similar to girl scouts thin mints lol

    I have some sunflower seeds and dates that need used! I might have to try this. Do you think normal Hershey's cocoa powder would be okay?

      Amber Back you should try it! I think you'll like them. :) Regular cocoa powder tends to be a little more bitter in flavor, so you may want to add less or more dates...or you could add a tiny bit of maple syrup to sweeten a little more.

      Shannan Rothery I'm so glad you liked them! They are 128 calories and 2.8g of protein per ball (serving size for mine was about 31g each)

    So when it says to have a protein ball in mid morning or after noon it means just one?
    And we only suppose to have them in step 3 right? Because of the cocoa powder I guess.

      Noa Hirschbein no, you can have them at any time and as many as you'd like. Cacao powder doesn't have sugar, the only sugar in these is from the dates which is fine during the cleanse.

    Do you think hemp hearts would be a sufficient substitute for the pumpkin seeds? I want to make them tonight but I don't have pumpkin or sunflower seeds on hand

      Karianne Vadlie yep it's one of my favorite superfoods :) it's a great supply of magnesium, fiber, polyphenols, & antioxidants.
