The elastic bit at the front is probably to slip the expansion zip handle into it to stop it flapping about in the wind.

Bag looks fine, many similarities to SW Motechs design. Can’t make my mind up if removable inner dry bag is better or worse than an external rain cover. Why it’s so difficult to make a waterproof tank bag without either is beyond me,
Mounting plates only for BMWs somewhat a downside as limits use.
SW Motech have mounts available for most makes and models.

To be fair, Wunderlich are basically a BMW accessory company.

A screw is threaded all along its length, right up to its head whereas a bolt is threaded only part way along its length. Great review bt the way

I thought the price of the bag was a bit steep but when you’ve got to pay another £30 for the mounting plate they won’t be selling me one🙈😂

Great review thanks. Do you happen to know where I can buy one that will post to Australia? Nippy won’t post to Australia?

Is there a means of locking the bag to the tank ring ?- I find that, coupled with a padlock through the zips to be an invaluable safety feature so the bag can be left on the bike for coffee and lunch stops.

Hi.Yes there is, I have an Oxford helmet lock/cable, carabina type . The looped end of the cable wire could fit through the padlock and then secure the carabina end around your handle bars. Simply easier to take the bag off with you I think , but yes you can secure it to the bike.

Shame usually like their stuff but this one just looks cheap, sw motech or givi much better quality I think. But it's personal choice. Enjoy your videos though thanks for making them

I also have an SW Motech tank bag, a few years old and the Wunderlich bag is just as well made. However, I haven't got hold of their latest stuff. 👍

Bag looks ok but it looks like a poor man’s version of SW Motech pro tank bag

Never used a tank bag but cannot believe manufacturers still make luggage for bikes that aren’t waterproof, seems senseless to me.

I don't think many, if any make waterproof ones....they are all water resistant 👍

terrible looking design on that bag. The base plate set up is fairly agricultural looking especially on the inside. I have used a givi version for years and the inside is the bag not some outdated mounting system, Is that the prototype (not for road use)😂. Not entirely sure what they thought bringing this out but good luck with it I hope it serves well regardless.

All comments appreciated. Nope it’s not the prototype, sometimes agricultural ain’t a bad thing 😂
