Forgive my bluntness, but I think your view of the new system is obfuscated by having the pass+. As a FTP who managed to do EVERY feat (besides 4+ stars Huyang), I've managed to buy 1 Omicron and 2 mods, despite one GC has already passed. I do have 2.6k Episode Currency stored, but I can't use it since 2 Omicrons cost 3.2k. I don't doubt the math that at the end the rewards will be the same or comparable, but at the moment depite putting in more effort, both for the crazy GCs and the conquest like quests like "Kill 10 units using Droids", I'm still way under what I would have gotten. And as you mentioned it's not like I can call it done after having done the GC, I'll need to make sure I clear everyday's quests.
I actually DO NOT intend to buy the pass long term - I very rarely spend money [the last time was $2 the first time they gave us the ascension packs]. I bought it as a math experiment to help the community, so the outlook I'm giving is purely based on the math itself, and not on the rewards I'm receiving from the $20 pass.

Under the old system we could take off multiple 4 day's and get the same rewards. I knew what I was getting the day I completed my gc Their is a lvl of dredd now that wasnt pressent before as I can't be sure if I hit what I want to hit. the store gives the illusions we can get more of the things we want but as the omicrons poiint out we can't as we only get 4 refreshes a month. Another note a bigger issue for me is I don't trust CG to not change things up at random so it's even more benifitial for them and once it's situation it will be essentially difficult to convince anyone we got screwed because we will be used to this Garbage.
There is also an unintended effect of the changes which hasnt been picked up. If the marquee is a toon, then no ship GCs. If the marquee is a ship, no toon GCs. For those who dont like ship GCs, this is a potential plus since most marquees are toons. Well, until the next GL fleet drops 😂

I said 'FTP' but I am 11M GP. So not exactly the average player and yet struggling.
