Cheers to the explorers and those who seek to learn more about all species of fish. This is why I love your channel and strive to be more like you in my fishing
Four Mile Run here in Washington DC is a great multispecies spot! In the summer I have seen gar, tons of snakeheads, perch, non native tilapia, and different sunfish types. It is widely regarded as the best winter fishing spot in the area because it is fed by a treatment plant that dumps in warmer water. Just something to keep in mind if you ever fish DC again!
Thanks for your channel! Just started back fishing ,and your channel has educated me and inspired me to be a multi-species angler. Your channel is awesome, continue to be the "Master of multi"!
Great video Leo! I honestly think multi species fishing is far more rewarding than just going out with the end goal of "I want to catch a 5lb bass". I'll be honest, I used to be someone who was disappointed if I didn't land some giant fish while out fishing but when I started watching your channel about a year ago you really changed my perspective on fishing. Don't get me wrong, catching big fish is awesome but now I get just as excited from catching small fish that my friends consider bait. And just remember, size isn't everything! ;) lol
Leo, as a sub..I Get it! And why this is my favorite channel. This is a place to learn and enjoy the exploration. Best channel on youtube for me...period. The place I find myself when just surfing the youtube world...excellent channel. My new approach is to find places to fish..on the motorcycle. Trying to find new places and with what I can carry on the motorcycle..catch something...ANYTHING :) ( Not really the best you-tube concept, just my escape; so the camera usually gets left behind. No room anyway for it ) Someday I hope you fish the Bell-haven area of the Pungo River North Caroline. Have a relative on the water....never caught a fish there! But they are there...
Most people consider gar to be trash fish. Me, I was super excited when I caught my first longnose gar this weekend. Also caught my first yellow bass, and smallmouth bass. I like trophy fish, but just catching new fish is so much fun.
I wish I could fish with you either here in California or in Philly, wouldn't matter to me. Keep angling, and keep exploring my friend, and most definitely continue to make your videos the EPF way!!!
Leo, I know I'm months late to this vid but I took my kids to that first spot quite a few times over the summer. We would've freaked out if we saw you. Our best day out there we got 25 fish, Smallmouth, Walleye, Sunfish and Smallmouth. A friend of mine caught a Muskie there years ago.
That is awesome, The Fishin' Dad! Glad to hear that the spot produced for you and your family. And who knows...maybe one of these days you will see me around. Hah. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Like the way you explained your channel , to explore and to fish responsibility , one of the main reasons I subscribed to your channel! Keep up the good work ! I am planning to begin fishing ,never fished fresh waters, fished a lot in Costa Rica 20 years ago and know I need a good hobby to get a of the house ! If you have a video for beginners please send it over , thank you for the education you give here !! Much appreciated .
Love your videos man you recently accepted my request on Facebook I'm part of the Ohio crew for carp fishing. And I love your videos man keep up the good work I watch them all
Leo, I'm still catching up on your videos, so this may be out of date. I just want to let you know that I'm learning a lot from you. Seems you CAN teach an old dog new tricks after all (I'm 61). I love your channel, and hope you keep posting vids for a very long time, my friend. My daughter just got me a KastKing Sharky II 1500 for Father's Day. I've spooled it with FluoroKote 6-lb. test line, and am looking forward to fishing with it. Your comments prompted me to put that reel on my "wish list". Thank you!
great video as always yummy walleye!!! never make fun of any breed of fish that will pull on the line hey Leo have you ever caught the ever elusive stick fish they don't eat well but put up a good fight sometimes lol thank you for your time and effort in videos and the way that you go about fishing
Behind Home Depot. Great spot, there's a hole about 6' deep about 10' from shore. It's not over my head, but came close. Headed across from the Vestal side. Great for big smallies there too.
Leo, did you go through Hancock NY or Deposit NY, because i live right next to JC (Johnson City), The Delaware river is one of the best rivers to fish in the world for trout especially, no stocked, just wild trout walleye and smallies, when you come to New York again you have to fish it, you should have been near those towns going to JC, but only up here in Hancock is good trout fishing because the east and west branch meet and its trout heaven.
Hey Leo have you ever thought of coming over here to Long Island NewYork to try some fishing we have all type of fish here around the Island we have the best surf casting especially in Montauk here on Long Island the Fall run is crazy right now. If ya come here I can't wait to watch the video . Tight Lines 👍🏿
im with you on that because im the same way i go out to catch fish and dont matter what kind of fish because fish is fish i go out to catch fish and not to go catch big one i well like to catch big one but to me at lease i catch some fish then no fish and dont lit all the hater out there hate on you cuz is not like they dont go out and skunk everyone dose no one go out everyday and get big one everyone skunk so they should know fish is a fish so im with you and i kno because for my big is bass is not that big to some people but my big bass is 2.12 lb so i know and i go for all kind of fish because to me fish is a fish and catching some fish make it a good day then skunk so i like all your video so dont care what they say about your video just keep it up and keep going cuz i like watching your video and i tride some of the stuff you use and it work for me so just keep on going and keep posting video ok keep up the goo work
Hey leo I'd love to meet up sometime with me and my son trout fishing in the genesse river..just on this side of the New York PA border ..we get trout alot of trout in the late spring early summer!!! Consider it please
Hope you see this comment because I've been a subscriber watching ALL of your videos for a while and totally respect you and what your doing but I have something I need to say ....you say that you take constructive criticism well in this video so I have one piece of criticism I feel the need to share with you !! You need to learn to be a better fishing buddy bro ,I seen a video recently where one of your buddies you fished with hooked a couple carp and another where you were wading through heavy undergrowth and scrub ground to get to a spot of his he promised you fish and delivered results in the end ....but after watching them I have to ask you , do you hear some of the pompous comments you make to the people who fish along side you ?!?! You need to stop being so patronising to these supposed friends of yours ! There's always gonna be a better fisherman out there than you , no one is perfect , no one has the perfect formula to catch every species in the world and every tactic to catch them on or when or how they should do it . No one !!! My one suggestion to you would be exactly that , lay off your fishing buddies ,they should be your brethren not your pupils for you to teach . I for one love your videos and think your great...but to be entirely honest , I wouldn't want to spend a day on the water with you ! Enough said.....
Cheers to the explorers and those who seek to learn more about all species of fish. This is why I love your channel and strive to be more like you in my fishing
Thanks for the video...learned a lot about fishing from you and you really impacted my life...never give up the channel and always keep going!

I've always wanted to catch a gar myself
Kyle Foos It was pretty fun. I'm just glad it was relatively small for a gar (only about three feet long).
if it's your first one of the fish then obviously it's not a trash fish
no such thing as a trash fish
Mark Withers
Agreed. There may be fish I'm not targeting, but they are all pretty awesome to see.
and this is why we love extreme philly fishing.
LIKE FOR ALL THE FISHERS OUT THERE
I wish I could fish with you either here in California or in Philly, wouldn't matter to me. Keep angling, and keep exploring my friend, and most definitely continue to make your videos the EPF way!!!

I've caught huge green sunfish on senkos I have picture on my Instagram
Omg just because a fish is bleeding doesn't mean it's going to die
if it's bleeding that much it does
could you come to Washington state?
I caught my first walleye sunday
There's nothing wrong with keeping that fish bleeding or not. It's completely legal.
I just got home from fishing!
any luck?
