You should update your display pics on UA-cam to your post-tan era. I totally agree that your natural look is more fitting.

As a white white person who does not tan, I too have struggled with makeup. I actually have a naturally pinker white complexion, while all foundations are yellow white. So I have given up on foundation and only use spot concealer with maybe a little bit of the photo finish powder on date nights. My summer freckles are the natural bronzer. There is no foundation out there that matches truly white folks, only the tan white folks. And nobody talks about it. I think the worst makeup trend is contouring the nose and putting highlighter on the tip, I've told so many influencers to stop doing layers of makeup on the tip of their nose and they have ignored me thus far 😂 maybe theyll have a turnaround with age.
It's not nice to comment on people's appearances. Many won't say, hey this looks bad. I will say your more natural blonde, and skin tone definitely suits you better. The practically white hair bleaching makes us pale ladies have foreheads looking twice their size. I noticed that within myself a bit after college. Went back to my normal blonde when I got a flash photo take of myself where you could NOT tell if I even had hair. 😮
I think the only recent past makeup trends that will seem strange later are the super thick eyebrows and the Rudolph red nose trend. The thing is at the time something is popular it looks normal and when the trend shifts that it doesn't look good. We all looked amazing rocking the trend at the time 😊

I think a makeup thing we will look back on and cringe is highlighting the tip of the nose. Some people are a little too heavy handed with it and then it's all I can look at. It's like a shiny bullseye
I’m also pale, I don’t mind it and you don’t want skin cancer, plus it ages you. I know spray tan doesn’t but for me too much trouble

You look fine without contouring etc.. makeup is to accentuate your features, not make people like something they are not. Less is more :)
