I've uploaded Slipknots first two (whole)albums in Drums and Bass only. Have Vol3 split up and will upload it later. Check my channel for it (and other metal albums). Enjoy
@@tranquilitree oh well i guess "rudiment" might not be the appropriate term; idk i was just talking about the sextuplets that he blends into a roll of straight time notes and the things he can do "in between" series of drumming
as much as I can appreciate slipknot nowadays, theres no argument on how superior the former base (that is, bass+drums) was. Joey was a star of his own, but the isolated bass here shows a whole new taste to the music.
I think it’s an edited sample of beer keg, before verse it’s actual beer keg hit. That sample from 1:26 was used in All Out Life chorus and Unsainted chorus aswell.
yup, its actually a little bit different from Paul's DVD, but you can hear this is the studio version of the original track, and i guess its totally not a home made cover. Maybe the uploader got it from a guitar game like guitar hero :)
i doubt you’ll ever see this man but i like how paul brought attention to him doing a few things different when playing live. Like in the intro some notes were changed in the dvd behind the player version and i love it
Man just listening to this makes me miss Paul and Joey and I bet it makes the other maggots miss them too. Also this is beautiful!! Hope our drum and bass legends are jamming to this!
Well it comes to personal preference, so it sounds good to his ears but not yours... Joey used small drums, or at least a small snare, so he probably liked a little more brighter, tight drums and cymbals.
nobody fucking cares i would have used Meinl if i were their drummer :) i use meinl byzance mixed alonge with custom classic extreme metal and some generation X splashes and stacks
I think I like this more than the actual song dang this is a masterpiece.

It was written mostly by Paul and Joey so it probably sounded something like this when they were coming up with the song.
😢
now they both are together again jamming like this... RIP
0:49 that double bass gets me every time

joey jordison + paul gray + chris fenn EPIC 👌👌👌
And Shawn Crahan
RIP joey man
@@noah-berg Now, Joey can't return either. RIP #1

@@noah-berg he cant bro....he cant...
It's very, very sad to know - that both of them dead... Paul and Joey... you did the great work! Slipknot is always be the number 1 to me!
My god the rudimentary style that Jordison uses will always blow my mind. Such technique and metal drumming while also blending in unique rudiments
What rudiments?

This is a listenable song to me on its own. That’s how amazing their rhythm section was….. RIP Paul and Joey
I think Joey was really creative with this track
2:02 Perfect bass line here, that's how you do it
You can hear the keg.
K E G
1:26
they used that exact same "clunk" soun sample in all out life, damn.
They're using a beer keg a percussion, you should see them live. It's mental. He'd hit with a baseball bat on fire and stuff.

played this with a guitar track i found, i lined them up perfectly, sounded badass
biscuit why, couldnt you just find this song without vocals?😂
@@supersaiyanlucas7320 why not (4 years late)
@@panos367 because there are plenty of instrumentals and covers on UA-cam lol
@@supersaiyanlucas7320 true but u feel a happiness inside of u when u get the timing just right

Best rhythm section ever... RIP guys

+Pintér Tamás Yes this is origonal tracks that he probs got from guitar hero or rock band. Paul plays it a bit different in his DVD for some reason
+JentySteP thats because its the live version

You can hear Cory singing at the start if you have headphones on lol
combathades20 yeah I can hear it
I like this more than the full original track.
Is this the actual isolated track? Interesting to note that it is different to Paul's lesson/playthrough on his 'Behind the Player' DVD.
+ruinawish he even said he plays it differently live 🙂 still fucking awesome
Man it's so good on its own, love this rhythm section man
Baixista foda mano

is it weird that this track is of Paul & Chris & Joey, 3 of whom are no longer in Slipknot?
Who are no longer in the world now, rip
Still are the real slipknot in a way tho.
OH MY!
Verse is the fire man
os 2 ex Slipknot
Is this the orginal bass track by paul
Damn! He's fast ;)
Who Joey or Paul? Well they both r fast.
It reminds me of C&C Tiberian Dawn ^^
Put some funky guitar over the top it could be straight from MFKR
Jay weinberg is good but Joey's shit will always be harder. RIP PAUL AND JOEY
