Have BF never heard of copy/paste? They literally could’ve gave the engine a graphics and FPS improvement, then copy and paste every single gun and reload animation from other BF games then add them to portals, and we would have adored it. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.
I think the animations for the mainline 2042 weapons are actually really solid, but while I absolutely love Portals and all the modes players come up with, seeing the reload animations for all of the weapons from alternate eras was nauseating. It’s like a completely different video game. Whoever they put on that animation team needs to be fired.
They aren't that different tho; if It weren't for the comments, i couldn't notice that this is a comparison. You can even put another 2 tacticool game type, reloading while looking at the sky and you will have the same situation, these kind of animations aren't that different; hell, even Minecraft mods and roblox games are into It lol
I actually really like BF2042's animations. Sure they aren't realistic but they certainly don't have to be, they're not high quality but they're nice to look at
It’s because people like accurate and good looking animations in their games, especially when you actually understand the weaponry and tactics used for reloading, etc.
Well maybe because 'theyre not high quality' and is expected to be because its a AAA game. Besides the rest of the game are just a downgrade from the previous games
I agree with the fact that mw's reloads are looking and feeling better, but why were you comparing the gun's looks? Even if they are the same weapons it doesn't mean they are from cod 💀
I would wait till all the content has come out, I don't have problems with bugs anymore but the game still doesn't have that much content. it's worse than bf3 and bf4 but the game can still be a lot of fun
Said EA and DICE with their millions of budget... God the animation on BF2042 is so, plain... When I notice that their next game is going to be Heroes type of Battlefield, it's over honestly, no more hyped... We're going back to Indie game like Battlebit remastered where it's much more fun
Not biased. It's true that mw has better animations. Not all animations from bf2042 are bad but the quality is so inconsistent with the animations. The quality inconsistency is like COD CW
For me mw feels more “real” like the camera bounces and the way the character operates and reloads the guns you could feel like the pressure and the weight of guns
Still waiting on a dev to release a WWII game with true to life M1 Garand sights, just to see everyone on reddit lose their shit over how "dogshit" they are.
I know you're trying to clown on BF2042 but it's important to note that BF is the only franchise left that doesn't "legally distinguish" its gun models. That SCAR 17 was true to life. The one in Modern Warfare is not even close. In fact, there is not a single gun in MW2019 that hasn't been completely butchered visually to stop PC journos from jumping back on the "CoD tells kids what guns to buy so they can shoot up schools!" argument which is the reason they started doing that to begin with Also reloads in CoD and BF still are both unrealistic. No one reloads like that, not even in competitions. People typically drop their mags on the ground in competitions and then pick them up at the end of the stage. In combat, you wouldn't be reloading this quickly so for ease of use 100% of regular infantry soldiers would simply take the mag out, put it in their pouch, grab a new mag, and put it in the gun. Retention reloads are specifically for special forces operators. It doesn't make sense that a random insurgent would be doing that. edit: there's also a bit of comedic irony in the fact that everyone was like "WOW MODERN WARFARE SHOULD BE THE NEW STANDARD FOR GAME ANIMATIONS" and then everyone makes fun of any game that tries to match that quality.
You act like the models not being accurate is a flaw even tho they did it on purpose. As for the animations, the operators in MW 2019 are supposed to be the best of the best military operators in the world, so I think they would reload like that.
BF4 animations aren't amazing, the way that LMGs animated looked like an assault rifle with drum mag.The older BF like Battlefield 2 (2005) did it better.

when I play Call of duty WWII and Battlefield V I think the campaign cutscene and reload animation is better than Battlefield
Ok
No
Look at the amazing graphics of modern warfare
Sure they aren't realistic but they certainly don't have to be, they're not high quality but they're nice to look at
yeah i don't get it why people hate it a lot
yeah theyre fine, i think the game is definitely flawed but some stuff is just an overexagaration
It’s because people like accurate and good looking animations in their games, especially when you actually understand the weaponry and tactics used for reloading, etc.
Well maybe because 'theyre not high quality' and is expected to be because its a AAA game. Besides the rest of the game are just a downgrade from the previous games
their animation team got worse what the fuck happened, it's so stiff. bf4 and bf1 had better reload animations than 2042
I like the first m16 better ngl
CoD is currently in its “we’re trying to cater to the R6S fans” phase
It’s so weird how the cod scar’s rear sight is chopped in half
i really dont see a problem they’re both good (modern warfare always being better tho)
See this guy gets it
scars always look off in videogames.
They're both good and plausible, like this is just splitting hairs.
The BF sounds feel unsatisfying for some reason
BF2042 use tea cup stance. How?
I just wish the sights were correct like battlefield
idk why the cod sights are cut off though
How do you get the carry handle in MW?
they done circumcised the SCARs iron sights
Would make sense for an Israeli gun like the Galil, but a Belgian firearm? Come on, man.
my shi gon exlode maaaaaan😭
God what is that carry handle sight...
it's a blueprint for the M4A1 in game...
Why does Infinity Ward keep modeling the SCAR with a chopped off rear sight??
copyright i believe
Looks cleaner
@@harold6953 looks terrible imo
I agree with the fact that mw's reloads are looking and feeling better, but why were you comparing the gun's looks? Even if they are the same weapons it doesn't mean they are from cod 💀
I thought all of these were real life.. anyone else?
I love the scar-h reload from bf2042 tho but the rest is garbage
i don't see any problems here. both are great for me. anyways, is BF2042 is now worth buying? 😑
if the game looks interesting to you then go for it
@@ramiere1412 looks are just looks. i prefer the gameplay and if it still full of bugs
I would wait till all the content has come out, I don't have problems with bugs anymore but the game still doesn't have that much content. it's worse than bf3 and bf4 but the game can still be a lot of fun
I don't understand the purpose of the comparison, can someone explain?
Is this the real life?
Is this not a Battlefield?
i thought the other game was some old ass fps from 2013 or something, i just really never cared about 2042 after its release
I have 3 charges pending in the state of florida rn
Bf scar iron sights are better. But bf glock iron sights are awful
When you reuse BF2042 guns animations for the guns in portals.
aw naw those glock irons
Man the Oskar Wetterbrandt slander in the comment section of this video hurts me lol.
"The cod killer"💀
Said EA and DICE with their millions of budget...
God the animation on BF2042 is so, plain... Especially the MP40 where the reload is painstakingly slow as hell, it's like way worse than Insurgency Sandstorm.
When I notice that their next game is going to be Heroes type of Battlefield, it's over honestly, no more hyped... We're going back to Indie game like Battlebit remastered where it's much more fun
or just need for speed, mainly the old ones lmao *oh wait that was blackbox that did the older ones, EA just marketed it*
I’m not sure whether I am biased or not but; Modern Warfare looks and feels better
Not biased. It's true that mw has better animations. Not all animations from bf2042 are bad but the quality is so inconsistent with the animations. The quality inconsistency is like COD CW
Biased? You mean "based on".
For me mw feels more “real” like the camera bounces and the way the character operates and reloads the guns you could feel like the pressure and the weight of guns
@@koryrae1399 I know that the sounds are recorded, wouldn't be hard to belive that weapon anims are Mocap(thirdpearson is 100% mocap)
@@fotoradar6063 idk about 3rd person, but viewmodel anims definitely aren't done trough mocap. It's all hand-keyed by a cracked group of animators.
is that battlefield????
Still waiting on a dev to release a WWII game with true to life M1 Garand sights, just to see everyone on reddit lose their shit over how "dogshit" they are.
Game?
Just wanna point out that the BF Scar is always on safe... Even when it's firing... Good job EA
0:21 там слышно бросьте меня
Don't know why everyone is hating bf2042 animations. They are good. The only problem here is that the hands looks small, weak and cartoonish.
They are bad, they try to look tacticool but instead are inconsistent, bland, and redundant
@@solid_rooster4587 I agree

I don't know what those games are but yeah the first one is way better than the second

I am confuse can someone tell me what being compared at? Between bf2042 portal and cod mw 2019? 🤔
i thing he comparison quality how bad bf2042 with cod 2019
@@xlmystery2266 no, it's not how bad the game is, it matters the animation.
The reload animation quality
Neither of these 2 replies are very specific
3 2 1 😂
?
I know you're trying to clown on BF2042 but it's important to note that BF is the only franchise left that doesn't "legally distinguish" its gun models. That SCAR 17 was true to life. The one in Modern Warfare is not even close. In fact, there is not a single gun in MW2019 that hasn't been completely butchered visually to stop PC journos from jumping back on the "CoD tells kids what guns to buy so they can shoot up schools!" argument which is the reason they started doing that to begin with
Also reloads in CoD and BF still are both unrealistic.
Everybody in MW2019 is some sort of spec-ops, mercenary, or insurgent.
You act like the models not being accurate is a flaw even tho they did it on purpose. As for the animations, the operators in MW 2019 are supposed to be the best of the best military operators in the world, so I think they would reload like that.
Jesus, DICE - do your own thing, even if BF4 animations isn't on-par with MW19 - they were amazing, where is this....this is just sad.
Battlefield should stick to Infantry Reloads
BF4 animations aren't amazing, the way that LMGs animated looked like an assault rifle with drum mag.The older BF like Battlefield 2 (2005) did it better.
@@z4id4n42 dude, BF2 animations does not age well at all
