These guys would demolish NBA caliber defenses with handle like that; I always wondered why only Wilt was the only well known Globetrotter alumnus. Sure it’s rehearsed but you can’t deny that level of dribbling and it would stand legally in a pro game.
I don't care how long they've been performing, or whst group is perfirming, these guys are sn absolute treasure. From Goose Tatum, Meadowlark Lemon to the present, and the gags NEVER get old!
Harlem Globe Trotters visited Papua New Guinea in 1975... I watched them play against our national team. They made our team look like kids just trying to learn how to play basketball ball. They were just unbelievable.
Geese Ausbie came into the clinic where I worked (while the Globetrotters were on tour and in Seattle). What a sweet man! So gracious, funny and a gentleman. We had lots of Seattle "big shots" come in over the years I worked there but he did not put on airs or make demands. Just a wonderful person.
These gentlemen spread the word and love and peace all over the world. I absolutely adore these guys, really went out of their way to make people very happy. Greetings and much love from Dublin Ireland...
I was a little kid sitting courtside and Geese took my moms purse and dumped it out all over the floor. She came out and danced with him just like in this video. Such a great memory of two legends.

One of their legends - Curly Neal - passed away today at age 77. May he RIP.
Greatest thing in America history to make people forget about their problems and for 2 hrs just laugh and experience enjoyment....God bless these guys
My father took me to see these guys in the 70's....one of my fondest memories.

The Harlem Globetrotters have always been an American treasure.
Wow, this was back when everyone still loved each other!
They put smile on everyone's face. I remember seeing them at ST. JOHNS ARENA in Steubenville Ohio with my dad. Priceless.
Ausby, he spotted my little son and carried him to the center of the court..whole time saying Mama , what a beautiful memory this tribute brings
