Joe Vincent documentaries are unmatched. He knows how to give that 90s VHS documentary feel with an updated modern touch. I've never seen a bad documentary from him,EVER.
Magic won three championships at three different levels in four years. He won a championship in his senior year in HS, NCAA Championship his sophomore year, and NBA Championship his rookie year.
Yo Magic Johnson actually made no look passes. He's running a fast break staring at him but he's able to make a sharp accurate pass the complete opposite direction to the player nobody noticed. This man is the Goat PG. And he wasn't allergic to scoring can do that too if he had to.
Probably? Curry & West are combo guards those aren't PGs then there's Oscar Robertson who would have the best argument vs Magic but winning does matter. Magic the Goat PG with honorable mention to the great Oscar Robertson who was as complete a player you can think of. If I'm not mistaken I believe Magic & Robertson own the most 20 & 10 from the PG position. But even if someone wants to put Curry in the PG lane he's still not touching Magic or Robertson.
Me last night looking for a JBV Masterpiece and starting to realize i'm running out of options. Today : JBV delivers once again with some greatness. Thank you
I don't think I ever heard anyone put another PG above Magic. The next best ones are John Stockton and Isiah Thomas, but neither come close to what Magic has achieved in his career, not just in the NBA but also in the NCAA and in high school competition.
A true legend. The original "Point God". Eyes on the back of his head. It's Magic, watch the ball diapear. He didn't need any glasses for those no look passes. He could have played in any era. A straight winner, been ballin since a beginner, if only he wasn't a sinner. If he won 1 more ring they might be calling him the GOAT. There will never be another Magic.
A team-first player, innovative position-less player, a huge mis-match, one of the nicest guys in the league and a really amazing competitor, a wonderful and brave human being. Joe Vincent, you always come out with bangers yet this right here is iconic.
Will always have a special love for Earvin, went to an autograph signing back in 2012 and on videos he seemed like a nice guy but like they say never meet your idols. I brought my cousin along just because he was a huge basketball fan and after he signed my jersey he yelled “y’all want to get a picture?” I hate being that guy to hold up lines but he said “cmon let’s get a pic! Then my cousin asked “can I get a pic magic” and with that huge magic smile he said “of course.”
People skip over Magic when they bring up The Greatest Basketball players of All Time but I truly believe if Magic Johnson and Larry Bird didn't come in when they did in the 80s the NBA wouldn't be where it is today 250-300 Million Dollar Contracts!
Magic Johnson 1980 finals game 6 he went off like that because earlier that day Larry Bird won rookie of the year an he took that personally. In 4 seasons Magic won a high school championship, NCAA title, NBA championship. Greatest PG in NBA History.
Baby being born: "Honey, I'll be right back. Joe Vincent posted a video" As a Celtics fan from Medford, Massachusetts, born in the 80's, you grew up hating Magic, but equally feared and respected him. Best point guard to ever play, ahead of John Stockton
Joseph only drops quality masterpieces!Congratulations again for your amazing job,my friend!Unfortunately i didn't see Magic play live, but no one can't deny the fact that he's the best pg ever!Selfless, flashy a true magician.
A couple points more a game would not have effected the team. People overrate this factor. The Lakers had Kareem, Worthy and Scott and Magic as their core scorers. When Kareem retired, he scored several more points per game.
Magic Johnson is regarded as one of the most talented, selfless players to ever play the point guard position at a very high level. Despite being 6 foot 9 tall, he is one of the greatest basketball players to step a foot on the court with ball handling vision. After winning a national championship with Michigan State, He was selected first overall in the 1979 NBA draft by the Lakers, leading the team to five NBA championships during their "Showtime" era. Then, he retired after playing for the first 12 seasons and he made a comeback in 1995 to play one final season before he retired from professional basketball for good. He is the most successful businessman outside of basketball.🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
u deserve to be averaging atleast 500k views a video, and thats the bare minimum of what you should be getting. Cus ur documentary's are like no other and i literally get happy everytime u drop.
For anyone wondering, That Giant guy on the Lakers team was Chuck Nevitt. Standing @ 7'5. He played for 9 seasons. Including with the Pistons and the Rockets.
I love how you weave period correct music into your documentaries… it really helps to set the stage and bring a wave of nostalgia. Damn, I wish I had a time machine.
Magic Johnson and Larry Bird can very strongly be argumented to be THE sole saviors of the NBA. Before them, the league was in serious trouble of decline, but they brought allong a legendary competitive rivalry that still is talked about like it was yesterday. The LA Lakers vs. Boston Celtics dynasties of the 80's was only interupted by two other teams in 76:ers (1985) and Pistons (1989). And so fittingly how Magic's Lakers passed the dynasty tourch to the future G.O.A.T Michael Jordan and his new dynasty Bulls in 1991.
Not getting a ring 3 bro, dude is a Brady fan boy he has been acting like a little crybaby and bitching on Twitter. Cause he scared mahomes will pass Brady.
Yo, you should've did a shout-out to why the Lakers went to a game seven in1988.. Isiah Thomas put on a one man show after he twisted his ankle , during a fast break play. Scored I believe, 25 points in the 3rd quarter.. still a record, I believe. I'm only cherry picking because I love this era of basketball. Being from Detroit, I remember allllll of this. As a child, this did things to my soul lol Amazing content as usual 🤙🏿

As a 76er fan, I will say that Magic Johnson was the greatest PG to ever play the game. Kareem got hurt and he schooled my squad with the craziest stat line of 42-15-7, playing C. It was always exciting to watch the Celtics/Lakers rivalries.
SO glad Bored Films is finally doing Magic. Just the ultimate team player. The ultimate leader. Magic was my guy. In the 80’s it was Magic, Larry or Mike. Earvin was magical. I mean watch some of his buzzer beaters. Mike and Larry had more no doubt. But Magic’s some of his were just SICK! I mean shots that had no business going in. It was just Magic. Nobody can run an offense like Magic did. He conducted” basketball games.
Another classic by joe...i never knew Chicago had a chance to get magic. That's incredible...his legacy would've been much more different with the bulls than with a talent laden team like the Lakers.. enjoying the research you accumulate in your docs Im looking forward to the one you'll do for wemby in the next 5 years. I can't only imagine how incredible it'll be. The way you mesh your commentary, cutting the footage and the soundtracks as well as the audio adlibs you interject is clever. Your talents and skills are appreciated
thank you my DAD always would tell me about magic this and magic that but for the first time i understand no social media probably only 4 channels outside of PBS magic was really something to see them skip passes where like foot ball throws in was dangerous in amazing at the same time wow this man really did control time on that court i think magic was the first QB to play point that was 6'8 that J.V. Bored films
One of the few NBA players to win on all levels and be a Hall of famer. And to be the most historic point guard to know exactly where his teammates were going to be when he would deliver his passes with no problem. And even if there is a problem somehow someway the past will still make it
Joe Vincent documentaries are unmatched. He knows how to give that 90s VHS documentary feel with an updated modern touch. I've never seen a bad documentary from him,EVER.
💯
Bro spitting some real truth here!
The background music is perfect 👌
👍👍👍😊🍻
Yeah. He dont miss
Magic won three championships at three different levels in four years. He won a championship in his senior year in HS, NCAA Championship his sophomore year, and NBA Championship his rookie year.
Joseph Vincent said "Clapping cheeks!" 😂😂😂 Never knew I needed that soundbite in my life... 😂😂😂

Legendary.
Joe isn't the narrator.
@@0thers1d3 Then his name shouldn't be on the channel. As there is one name and one voice, they should be the same.
Lol
My favorite basketball player of all time #32 MAGIC JOHNSON
How else could you follow Larry Legend??
Had to be Magic!
Linked Forever as it Should Be.
Yo Magic Johnson actually made no look passes. He's running a fast break staring at him but he's able to make a sharp accurate pass the complete opposite direction to the player nobody noticed. This man is the Goat PG. And he wasn't allergic to scoring can do that too if he had to.
He got that from pistol pete
Thank you! Magic and Bird saved the NBA! I loved watching them both
Me too. Those days were a different era for basketball and america-TOO.
The most selfless player. Court vision off the charts! Probably the greatest PG to ever play!
ton of assist doesn't automatically mean selfless, not that he isn't just he might not be the most
Not probably but definitely best pg ever
You contradiced yourself@@pesky19

Couldn’t agree more.

The best point guard, ever.

Greatest PG of Human History. No man is above Magic on PG conversations. EVER.
I don't think I ever heard anyone put another PG above Magic. The next best ones are John Stockton and Isiah Thomas, but neither come close to what Magic has achieved in his career, not just in the NBA but also in the NCAA and in high school competition.
I was JUST talking about magic 😭! Doc came in at the perfect time 🔥

The magic man of documentaries conjuring up another Spell for THE GOAT PG OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!
I always forget how much fun it is to watch Magic perform.
Will always have a special love for Earvin, went to an autograph signing back in 2012 and on videos he seemed like a nice guy but like they say never meet your idols. Bird and magic save the NBA from bankruptcy
People skip over Magic when they bring up The Greatest Basketball players of All Time but I truly believe if Magic Johnson and Larry Bird didn't come in when they did in the 80s the NBA wouldn't be where it is today 250-300 Million Dollar Contracts!
That's actually factual

joe vincent the ‘showtime’ of youtube
Magic could have average 25 PPG for his career, but he knew the team wouldn’t have been as successful as it was.
A couple points more a game would not have effected the team. People overrate this factor. The Lakers had Kareem, Worthy and Scott and Magic as their core scorers. When Kareem retired, he scored several more points per game.
Magic said he could have averaged 30
