The Onion Skin Journal: What I Ordered!

- The Onion Skin Journal had a recent sale and I decided to take advantage of it and grab a fee things I needed. (Okay, so mostly journals I wanted not so much needed, lol)
I have been enjoying the Onion Skin Paper in thr journals. The journals are well made and sturdy. There is something magical about writing on this paper! It feels more tactile, and I love that.
I do have an onion skin journal and found your review right on point! I totally love mine. It's the fi4st journal I've had that I look forward to writing in every single day. The sound of the paper is magic❤
I've always wondered, is onion skin paper easy to accidentally rip? It always looks like tissue paper to me. Like, very delicate.
I haven't had an issue with it ripping! I've had it rustling around in drawers, used it to write letters and lists, and haven't had an issue. I'll have to try it out though!

Wow! I love your Pilot Vanishing Point Fountain Pen in the stripe model. Is the pen heavy? What is the "wettest" ink that you recommend for this pen?
It is on the heavy side and I love it! I have written hours at a time with this pen. I usually have Noodler's "Dark Matter" in this pen. It is a rather wet black and tends to spread a little too much for the strokes on this paper.
@@curatedavalon Cool! Thanks! I just bought my first VP. It's a standard piano black with white rhodium trim in a broad gold nib. I absolutely love it. But I want one also like yours 🙂

Do the 5 volumes just differ by the label on the spine or are they different in some other way? I couldn’t tell from the description on their site.
The volume set of 5 just has the different volume numbers as far as I can tell. I switched inks to see how the onion skin paper acted with a less wet ink. But yes, I miss the Dark Matter! I'll have to swap back soon!
