Imbased in South Africa and can't wait to throw them . Going yo throw them in Zimbabwe as well where they have 15lb + Bass We don't have Gizzard shad here but hoping it'll work .

This is something I didn’t learn until I was on the elites and fishing the south east and it’s a technique I’ve fallen in love with. Most don’t put in the time to do it
@@Zaldaingerous I should have waited before I commented because I left that comment and watch the rest of the video and when you were sitting at the meeting at the table y'all literally said the same thing😅. But yeah.. that's going to be an amazing spoon to flip docks, especially around marinas and boat slips.. I can imagine right now trolling through the Marinas at guntersville and flipping that spoon up in the slips.. as long as I don't get hung on the damn cables😏😅😅.. ole big's BIG BOOTY Judy's coming out!!😎💪🎣🥄
Chris my home lake is predominantly smallmouth. We dont see the big 6lbrs like up north. I think because of the fishing pressure? But we got plenty of 2 to 3 lbs smallmouth. My question should i throw the big larry on them or should i find a smaller spoon? I use a small cotton cordell spoon in the winter and they will bite it some. Should i purchase a big larry and try it for smaller smallmouth?

I never used a spoon until about a month ago. I was on one of the biggest schools of white bass hybrids I’ve ever seen. I threw everything I had trying to figure out how to get bigger bites out of the group. I tied the old rusty flutter spoon and started jerking absolute studs out. Every cast. Hybrids and largemouth. I’ll have one tied on from now on

Noticed your swivel is like 6-8 inches above the spoon. Why?
Land ratio increases because they can’t get as much leverage and throw the spoon - it’s 2.5oz so a lot of weight for them to throw
