“i can’t give up on my kids cause that’s frowned upon in society” 🤣🤣🤣 i love your honesty, humor, and confidence Sam!!! So excited for this next chapter in your life and can’t wait to see what’s next for you!! ❤️
That takes so much courage to step away from the security of your job to pursue your newfound passion. I wish you the best of luck and hope you are so happy with this decision and new life you are about to embark upon. You are amazing! Keep chasing your dreams 💕💫
Congratulations! I'm happy for you. I relate to this so much as a PA who got into mortgage loans and side hustles after the pandemic hit. I'm trying to stay part time and notice I'm one of the few not experiencing the pandemic burn out. I'm excited to follow you along the way and cheer you on!
This literally gave me the chills. Thank you for sharing this and taking a leap to do something for you! Thank yourself! You have worked so hard and I genuinely do believe sometimes we need a break to discover new parts of ourselves that we may have never known if we didn’t take the leap. You got this! We believe in you ❤️
Thank you so much for all the support!!😘😘😘 I love your words. You are absolutely correct- you have to take a break to rediscover all of your life’s passions. Let’s not limit ourselves to doing only ONE thing
You're not "quitting" in the sense that you gave up on this career. Its just at this moment you needed another perspective in life to see a world without PA in your life. Having different perspectives may make you appreciate PA more down the road. Grass is always greener on the other side. Good luck!
So excited for you!!! I’m starting medical school in a well and can’t wait to start adulting lol! You’ve encouraged me to be more financially educated!💛💛💛
YEESSS! Adulting is only fun if you are financially independent 🤣 Otherwise, it sucks and it’s a lot of pressure. Don’t be too quick to grow up. Stay forever young and dumb 😆
Yay!!! Congratulations! You will kill it, and like you said...if worst comes to worst, you can always go back to becoming a PA. I'm soo happy for you and your ambitions.
Thank you for sharing this story. Mine is a little different but I just withdrew from PA school during my clinical year. I had a full ride so thankfully no student loans. It was one of the most toxic environments, it was draining and I was no longer thriving- I was drowning in this process and lost myself. So many factors went into this but I no longer was the person I knew I worked so hard to become. I am coping and realizing that it is okay to release identities that once served you. I know this time will pass. I am 26, looking forward to getting married, and I know I have the rest of my life to figure this out.
Omg how can I love this comment enough??? ❤️ So amazing! You’re amazing! So proud of you for being so brave and removing yourself from a career that you no longer want to pursue. You’re way smarter than most people 😊
@@ticathegreat6799 It was the only school I applied to and it was in-state so I received much lower tuition for in-state than out of state students. I was awarded the Primary Care scholarship (largest scholarship our program offers) which was upwards 17k. I also received Kaiser permanente diversity scholarship and another state scholarship. Between those 3 scholarships and FAFSA aid I was able to cover full tuition, rent, and book expenses in total.
I have been following along on your journey for a short while but you have been soooo inspiring, I tell people about you all the time and say Sami is doing this or that. You are so inspiring and brave and willing to take on challenges. I have learned a lot from you and hope to continue doing so. Good luck on this next step of your journey!!
Its so interesting how I totally feel you but Im in the opposite position. Ive been working in the corporate space but Im leaving a six figure job to pursue PA school in the fall. I am absolutely TERRIFIED but I think I may need to take the leap. But I wanted to say to you Sam that you are not you are job. God has shown me that in so many ways. When I did not get into PA school after years of trying, He showed me my other talents and skills; I am forever grateful that I have a whole new level of skills to accompany my entry into PA school. I am excited for you!
I quit (EAS) from the Marine Corps. I understand the “complacency/comfort/lackluster life.” Pursuing firefighting in CA and in the future…PA! Thanks for sharing
Hi Sam!! Just wanted to say thank you for continuously sharing your wisdom, knowledge, and experiences with us! The way that you speak with such dedication and passion has really inspired me in my own journey as a prePA student in so many different ways. You are such a big role model to me and I wish you the BEST of luck in the next chapter of your life. I'm so excited to see what's in store for you! Whatever you do, I know it will be great :)
😭😭😭 Thank you thank you thank you! I don’t deserve all this love and support!! 😘 Good luck on your journey! You will do so great! You’re so much smarter and wiser than me ❤️
What you said about "if I fail.." girl what makes a good entrepreneur is failing and knowing how to get up from it and long from your mistakes. That is how you can be GREAT
Congratulations you went from Employee to Business Owner , I suggest you read” Rich Dad Poor Dad”, you are not the only one , I met a Starbucks exect who quit her 6 figure job to open a yoga studio, a PT who quit as rehab director to open his own clinic , I’m a PTA who is shifting towards cryptocurrency and options trading , nothing wrong with change and if it doesn’t work like u said your PA license is your safety net , good luck !🍀
Absolutely! The pandemic made us all reevaluate our lives goals. Working for a big corporation forever is not the way to live. I’ve learned that I need to rely on myself to bring home the money. I can’t rely on a corporation to pay my salary. Financial freedom is the key to happiness!!
@@james192599when you die , whether you are rich or poor doesn’t matter. It matters where your soul goes which should be your top priority. Jesus promises to take care of your struggles and stresses but did not say it would be easy. He said you will spend eternity with him if you believe in him and repent of your sins. Which to me is better than any dollar I can earn on earth.
this woman is absolutely full of it i just watched a video of hers yesterday talking about how she has no regrets being a p.a. so this is just click bait
ER PA for the past 3.5 years...already burnt out, but still in incredible debt. this was refreshing!
Ooph. This is a depressing comment 😕

Build your business that is your passion.
So do you think there is a major reassessment of work in America everyone is quitting their jobs lol?

Is it a God sized hole that you may need to fill?
Chocosa
you need God (Jesus Christ) he will feel that void, once you reach the pinnacle of your new career you will feel the same.
Amen!
Jesus won't stop you from being poor.
