Definitely the way it ended. I did like the neutral coloured spot you presented at 11.09 but didn't use it. Loved the straight line of black at the top right. Great video as always. I love watching you making your bold moves, it encourages me to do the same. Thanks Jackie.
I love your thinking aloud, intuitive choices, and auditioning piece placement. Moreso than any artist I can think of, you inspire my creativity. This from someone who never "did or understood" abstracts, prior. Your choices help me understand what different choices I would make, thus realizing & expanding my own artistic uniqueness. Many thanks, Jackie. An always fan...
Wow, thank you! You just made my whole week 🥹🥰❤️ Would you mind if I used part or all of your comment on my website? If so, how would you like me to attribute it to you? (I typically use first name and first initial of your last name) ❤️❤️❤️
I loved the piece at 8:47. The transparency and brightness of the tissue paper and the red paint added with the spatula. I also love the white you add later in the video. Great to see the process of the piece.
Watching you rescue the original piece was sooo exciting! It made me feel happy to see the transformation. I think the overall is amazing, and I especially love the bright bits up top. 10 thumbs up for Jackie today!!
that is a big improvement but still i liked the middle part better just before the recording stopped. i liked the warm colors and composition. Still well done. Thanks for sharing. Always something new to see.😊❤
You are always make me feel sane because I go through the same thing after I see some inspiring art video by Jane Davies, yourself, and others ArtWhisperer. I have been learning to abandon my plan and take risks . I love you! You are my mentor to let go. I'm not alone is a great thing to know . Bless you
I just love watching you work!!! You give me so much inspiration and encouragement as I work with my own art. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday Surprise!! Have a wonderful week Jackie!!
Looks great. I’ve only just discovered glazing medium and am really enjoying the effect of the depth that can be had by painting many transparent layers. Thanks Jackie.
I would think about using rubbing alcohol to rub off some of the layers in the pink zone to reveal the very interesting work and marks beneath. You could even do this in lines or stripes to add interest to this area.
You mean you didn't see the one where Jane did a four layer painting and sprayed it with 97% alcohol? You could have used it - what the heck, you could spray it off and use whatever you need to get ut off. Point is, you had fun! I can't wait to get home and PAINT! Jackie - this turned out so COOL! I love all the layers of color. This is awesome Thanks - Linda H 🙂
Freedom, authenticity, YOU - as artist is all that counts. Mellow me on the devil's tower - lower right - surviving the ages or in this case layers. Pink is where the heart is dancing among straight lines.
I love the bold move that seemed to set you free from going forward! That pink really worked! 😊
What an adventure Jackie! A pleasure to watch and to (sort of) hang with you as well -- congratulations on all the new ❤
So glad you came along for the ride ☺️❤️❤️❤️

@@jackieschomburgart Absolutely. Attribute it any way you wish.
Thank you! I’ll go with “Denise W.” unless you would like something different ❤️
The end result so far is way cool!!
Yay! Glad you love how it turned out! 😍🙌

@@jackieschomburgart You are very welcome!!
Loved your end product!
Aww, thank you! So glad you loved it! 😄✨
I love this! I'm going to work on an ugly painting right now!!!!!
Yes! Embrace the “ugly” phase-it’s all part of the fun! 😆✨
Looks great. I’ve only just discovered glazing medium and am really enjoying the effect of the depth that can be had by painting many transparent layers. Thanks Jackie.
It’s fun, isn’t it? Enjoy! ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for the tip! 🙏 Stripes in the pink zone-genius! Can’t wait to try it! 🎨✨
I like how it came out. :)
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely love how this turned out!❤
Thanks so much! I’m really happy with it too ☺️❤️🌈
What do you suppose I missed in this piece? Your use of black & white collage paper.
I almost added some black and white stripes, but it felt too loud in light of everything else going on 🤗
You mean you didn't see the one where Jane did a four layer painting and sprayed it with 97% alcohol? You could have used it - what the heck, you could spray it off and use whatever you need to get ut off. Point is, you had fun! I can't wait to get home and PAINT!
Jackie - this turned out so COOL! I love all the layers of color. This is awesome
Thanks - Linda H 🙂
Haha, sounds like a blast! 😆 So glad you’re feeling inspired, Linda! 🎨✨
I like both how it was & how it is❗️. What is the paint sitting at the top of the palette tray❓. A pinky-red…
I think that was the “hot pink” from Nova color paints :)
The way it ended.
Right?! That twist though 😱🔥 Loved it!
Freedom, authenticity, YOU - as artist is all that counts. Mellow me on the devil's tower - lower right - surviving the ages or in this case layers. Pink is where the heart is dancing among straight lines.
❤️❤️❤️
Since pink is rarely lightfast, it will turn brown. 🤷♀️
…Thanks? 😂 Are you referring to the pink tissue? It’s under so much paint at this point, I’m not sure it would even matter if it did turn brown. 🤗
The way it ended I like better.
❤️❤️❤️
