Pentru mulți Dears, Kazahstan a devenit un fel de a doua patrie. O țară descoperită cu Dimash, tradiții, muzică, limbă. Cântăm cântecele lui in kazahă și poate le știm mai bine decât cântecele noastre. Am adoptat acea țară odată cu Dimash și țara lui ne-a adoptat pe noi, cumva. Suntem la pachet. Elim Menin e un fel de imn neoficial al țării, ritmul arde sângele si te trimite în luptă. Când spun luptă, nu mă refer neapărat la război, ci lupta pentru o viață mai bună, pentru unitate și iubire.Postura lui Dimash si vocea, în cântecele folclorice, capătă alte valențe: putere, împământare, decizie, durere, neputință, mândrie, libertate sau multă, multă delicatețe și căldură ( vezi Amanat). Cântând ca acum, Dimash e un conducător al națiunii.❤❤

Dimash put Kazakhstan on the map for many people around the world. Dimash has said many times that he is Kazakh through and through and Kazakhstan made him who he is. Kazakhs have every reason to be proud of this young man and how he represents them to the world. Thank you Kazakhstan!!!!

Great reation! Couldn't agree more. Dimash is proud Kazakh through and through. His mission is to bring Kazakh music and culture to the rest of the world, and he has done exactly that. He is so proud of his country and Kazakhstan is so proud of him. He sings with such patriotic passion whenever he sings about his motherland. Only love and respect for Dimash.

I believe Kazakhstan didn't achieve independence until 1996, making it so much more special to the people of that beautiful country. Dimash is the best ambassador for them, in my humble opinion. I love that he loves his country so much and shares different traditional instruments as well as traditional clothing in some of his performances. And he is truly a humble and kind peace loving man. @susandale5767 It was actually 1991. Dimash was born in 1994 a few years after Kazakhstan gained independence.

Yes 4 or 5 of the instrumentalists do appear with Dimash quite often in his performances and concerts. He has all the best artists that appear with him. Dimash has been honoured by the President with the title Peoples Artist of Kazakhstan last year, somethingherichlydeserved. He had previously received a title in 2019 as Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan so he is very well respected there. He was also given a beautiful Kazy puppy last year by the President, a rare breed of Kazakh hunting dog. Dimash a true animal lover named him Garysker which means Astronaut in Kazakh. ❤

Yes, the kobyz musician & dombras are used often as they are traditional Kazakh instruments. Dimash plays the dombra really well too.

Yes, you saw some of the instrumentalists at the Almaty concert. I love it when Dimash sings in Qazaq his mother tongue. His voice is even more powerful and richer when he does. Furthermore I love the traditional Qazaq songs they are beautiful.

👉 Elim Menin/ My Country - Dimash passionately performed the song, the unofficial national anthem. You can feel that he really loves his country and that he is Kazakh with heart and soul. The text was written by the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev. In 2019 he had the capital Astana renamed and gave it his first name 'Nur-Sultan'. Later he was head of the Security Council. On January 5, 2022 Nazarbayev resigned following the recent unrest sparked by rising prices and the fallout from the Covid pandemic in Kazakhstan.
The music was written by the Kazakh composer Yerkegali Rakhmadiyev. The concert took place on December 16, Kazakhstan's Independence Day (1991), at the Independence Palace in Nur-Sultan (capital, which was called Astana until 2019)
