I disagree with the max strength sprint claim. It’s obvious from a exercise science stand point that if you train for power in the training room from positions similar to those in the blocks or the first few steps out the blocks, the neural adaptations will obviously be there.
Chris, have you investigated a vibration plate or mini tramp did a few jumps with 25lbs plates in hands on m.tramp and vibration for neutral activation! Did a few starts in the house following you're techniques and felt much faster: BTW i am 70 years old but felt like my starts in High! school.
@@decathlete2000small round mini tramp : great for balance training and jumping endurance with a stretch of the Achilles. Add marching or jumping with 2 25lbs plates in hands for overload. Most sporting goods stores have them. Google mini tramp: they R online but can be expensive.
Coach do you think the athlete should think about extending that ankle aswell or would that be over pushing? Should it be an action or just a reaction of accelerating correctly.
Just because you didn't find it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. 🤪 Intuitive to think that *some* benefit exists. Maybe to your point, though, that too much generality doesn't translate materially to specific movements.
Really appreciate you making these videos 🙏🏽💯
My pleasure!
A true privilege to get this information for free. Thanks Coach!

Can you post the front view of the isometric exercise? Your favorite acceleration exercise. I want to practice it.
How’s your evolution been with the Lila gear? Have you changed the orientation of the weights to elicit different rotational responses?
Hey coach what do you mean by "hinging over his toe " ?
