About time they play this song again. "Squeeze Box" and "Athena" (in the US), are the two longest (in number of weeks on tge charts), charting singles the WHO ever had.
The word on the street is that tonight, at the Capital 1 Arena, these lads are gonna ONLY play 2 songs: this one (Squeezebox) AND a cover version of Sir Mixalot’s classic hit “Baby’s Got Back”. Supposedly, they are going to echo The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ‘Monsters Of Sock’ attire (wearing 1 strategically placed sock, and nothing else, as a protest statement against Putin’s attempts to externalize his massive and unrelenting self-hatred at the people of Ukraine (i.e. his misguided and wholly unnecessary war). Allegedly also, to tie all of this together, and to reinvent what a rock concert is, Zack Starkey will be reading poems, limericks, and blank verse very creative statements about drums/drumming, whilst Pete plays a 60-minute banjo solo from squeezebox, as Sir Mixalot provides us with his views on whether he still likes big butts, or whether he has come to understand that objectifying women rarely leads to personal growth or maximum fulfillment in life. Though I initially felt like ripping up my tickets, upon hearing this strange and unfamiliar news, I suspect that little of it (except for them wearing socks - probably 2 each, and over their feet) will be true. These guys are almost 80, and they are still rocking out. So give them a break. These fellows are more than all right. P.S. if the other 2 rumors are true, then this will be the greatest show ever: (1) that Winona Ryder will be modeling clothes to whatever music she likes, for 30 minutes & (2) that Winona Ryder has been buckling down with guitar and voice lessons, and as such, will be replacing the late great Joe Strummer in the Clash AND that The Clash Featuring Winona Ryder, will be opening for The Who!!!! Though The Clash did so before, back in ‘82, at Shea Stadium, they did so bereft of the attitude, talent, and unmatched beauty of Ms. Ryder. As such, I suspect that The Who will rue this decision, because they will be easily overshadowed!!!
These guys will always be great but sadly, they are aging like the rest of us so while the voices and energy are not what they once were, kudos to them as they did not "die before they got old"! Great to see Roger on guitar. My only complaint is the mix on this... can barely hear Pete's solo.
That's OK. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I had a great time front row at all 4 shows. You should probably browse to another channel now and find something that makes you happy. Cheers

Pensé que era un grupo de rock cristiano.

An accordion 🪗
Use your imagination
🎶🎶🧜♀️🌺🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🌺🧜♀️🎶🎶Too cute 🌺🧜♀️🎶🎶😜
A squeeze box is an accordion. Double Entrada here though.
🎶🎶🧜♀️🌺According to who you ask, it has a double meaning. Yes, it’s an accordion and 70’, 80’s, it was a ladies va-jay-jay 🌺🧜♀️🎶🎶
I think they practiced the song before
Dont
Townsend hates Led Zeppelin, at least page never wrote any crap like this
Watch your mouth.
Yikes
Sorry but this is terrible. Roger looks like death warmed over and the vocals/harmonies were awful. Nursing Home group
