shane thank you again for straitening out my right(strumming) hand i m familiar with some songs but your excellent taking apart of the song makes them great to play for me
Nice Shane !!! The Who is my favorite band ... Pete Townshend one of the greatest somgwriters that has ever lived ! This song was when Pete was learning to play the banjo ...he found it very difficult to learn ...lol ...thank you man ! Super excited to learn this one !
two of my favorite chords off of a standard C the C/G and CAdd9 so many great songs from simply trying out what normally some people transpose like if you pull up on say ultimate guitar songsterr a c chord but it just doesn't seem to sound write a lot of times you can either try that c/g or the Cadd9 and it just Powers it out of nowhere and you're like that's the trick to it.. happy holidays Shane...
You are a good teacher but playing the g that way and calling it the big kid g is so funny the positioning is perfect for this and lots of country song but so many other songs call for different positioning.. just say big kid

I finally corrected my mistake, and my dog didn't sleep last night. Thanks for explaining how to play .
Please fix the intro. It's actually two guitars. With one, the closest is G (5th at 3rd fret) to D (G bass)
No intro?
Intro?
Ah yes....sorry Anthony. The intro goes Dsus4 to D a few times then the song begins. Cheers, Shane
@@GuitarAtWork Leave the G string open on those intro D chords
I can play banjo and guitar
Very cool Erin - hope you're having fun with it.
